This makes taking GABA easier. It's a little bit sweet but maybe that adds to what makes it so easy to take. I still get the tingling sensation that I get after taking the powder but it is bearable.

These taste like the classic kid's vitamins from the stone age and are easy to chew/dissolve. They can help with mood and sleep so I took mainly at night. I did notice they are sweetened with Xylitol so keep these away from pets as that ingredient can be toxic (especially to dogs). They helped with sleep some nights so they're worth a try.

I have struggled with falling asleep/insomnia for years thanks to peri-menopause and an ADHD brain. I don't even remember where I read about GABA but I ordered another brand from Amazon and it helped, at first. But the dose was too low. Then I found the NOW brand and I must say, it's been a game changer for my sleep. I used to require an adult beverage to calm my brain down after a long work day but not anymore. GABA does the trick. It doesn't exhaust me, it just relaxes me deeply and before I know it I've slept thru half of whatever show I was watching! I often combine it with melatonin but not always and it still works just as well either way. I'm 110% sold on this and will always have it on my bedside table! Update!: So this was unavailable for months and I was so lost. I bought capsules from another brand and a powder but neither of them worked remotely well in comparison to the Now brand. When I saw it was available again I bought 5 bottles... Yes, 5. Just in case! They finally arrived yesterday. I took one at bedtime and within 20 minutes I was feeling the wonderful effects. I am in awe about how well this works! And so, so grateful! Update: Here it is, November 2025, and I still use this nightly. It still works just as well. This is my holy grail for sleep!

Chewable GABA works instantaneously. It was recommended to me by a holistic nutritionist for anxiety and occasional scary thoughts . You need to use within a couple months per the other reviews, as they do soften and get a bit sticky. They are wonderful to chew as needed for tension, anxiety, stress, insomnia, or any situation where a person may experience some fear such as air travel. They are non-drowsy if I take them during the day. I like to chew 2 an hour before bedtime.

The flavor is a bit sour and strong for my kids, but not the worst. At first they seemed like typical chewable vitamins. However after a month they got very chewy. I am not sure if they have gone bad. We didn’t notice sleep changes. They are chewable so no need to swallow. They seem to function as described- it is hard to know for vitamins.
