NOW Supplements, L-Theanine 200 mg with Inositol, 120 Veg Caps

Stressed out? anxiety? depression? emotional eater? Brain fog? Can’t sleep? Brain won’t “shut off”? Take this!!! I developed anywhere from low to high grade general and social anxiety. I struggle with depression. I’m an emotional eater. All these things left me feeling like I didn’t know myself anymore, in a fog struggling to make decisions or leave the house. This saved me. I never took prescription drugs because I was scared of the side affects so my doctor told me to take this. One 200 mg pill first thing in the morning and one at night. (From what I’ve read online people can take up to 700mg a day depending on your level of anxiety) I was very skeptical as I’ve taken many other herbs that did nothing for me. But this....this is like finding a Wonkas golden ticket...but instead of taking you to crazy land it’s your ticket OUT! This flat out clears my head. Gives me energy to complete tasks and enables me to process thoughts without stressing out. I don’t get jitters I don’t feel like I’m on caffeine (which I’m very sensitive to) I just feel like the “old me”. I’m hardly dealing with any breakthrough anxiety and when I do it never escalates into a panic or anxiety attack now. I find myself responding to stressors in a calm manner. Not engaging in things that would have sent me into a rage before taking this. I can formulate my thoughts better, speak my mind with ease and just have a better sense of self. Now that I’m not emotionally ping ponging through life, I’ve found that I don’t have the desire to emotially eat and I have begun to lose some weight. (I thought I was being dramatic but when I did some research online it is actually prescribed for this issue) what a unexpected plus! Sleeping has always been a huge issue for me. My thoughts were always racing. I’d be tired all day and as soon as I laid down....”oh wow let me play out every scinario of what I could have done better today” “let me think about every embarrassing moment I’ve caused myself since 1989”......NO MORE. I’m ready for bed by 11 and I sleep like a baby. Even if I can only get 4 hours of sleep I wake up feeling like I’ve actually slept, refreshed, ready to take on the day..... and I have a good attitude.... I AM NOT a morning person so that’s huge for me. My bouts with depression are now far and few between. I have a lifted mood, sharp, happy, desiring to live life, rested and able to get through any situation without fear of impending doom. Ive told everyone I know about this and they are all reaping the benefits of these magical pills. All my symptoms or not, with the world we live in today and the amount of stress we have I truly believe everyone should take this. Let’s get our lives and happiness back!!!!

Amazing what this little capsule can do to better your sleep quality. Small and Easy to swallow, no aftertaste, no side effects, nor weird feeling. You don’t even feel it working, but it sure does. You fall asleep quick and don’t have problem staying asleep. No grogginess in the morning.

I'll admit, I only just received this product earlier this morning and have taken just one 200mg serving...but I'm already sold! I was on the hunt for anything that could help me with my anxiety. It's something I experience just about everyday. I figured there had to be something out there that could help me. That's when I discovered L-Theanine. Read about it's calming properties without making you tired. How it can help with anxiety. The majority if not all the reviews I read for L-Theanine itself, regardless of where you get it from, were positive. I chose this brand because I felt it was a good price for the amount you get and it doesn't contain fillers and all that junk I don't want in my supplements. I took just one dose...and within 10 minutes I felt a sense of calmness just wash over me. Idk how to explain it other than...I just felt relaxed! My body felt at ease. I am very in tune with my body so I know when something actually has an effect on me. This was no 'placebo effect'. Everyone is different as to how much you'll need to take or how quickly you'll feel it's effects. The size of the pill is pretty small, in my opinion. Easy to swallow. No taste! Bottle came sealed and is authentic. My delivery arrived super quickly. The only thing I don't like is how they put the barcode sticker over the info on the bottle. Please don't do that next time? But yes. I am so glad I discovered this product. I wish I had found it sooner! For anyone dealing with anxiety, stress and just needs something to help with that...this is it! This also helps with sleep. Get this!

Calming.

I am very grateful not to have any depression or anxiety issues as this is the common afflictions i read in the reviews. My issue is that i only sleep 3-4 hours after turning 46 or 47, i am now 52(my doctor says it is because i am perimenopausal). I am usually a very happy and upbeat person but this lack of sleep is making me so moody and a little cranky and i hate it. I need at least a minimum of 8 hours to function 100% and that's miniumum(I used to sleep 9-10 hours, I had no clue that your sleeps cuts in half with aging). I cannot take prescription sleep aids because they make me ill and do not work and I loathe those hard prescriptions. I was looking for something natural like melatonin(which i can only use 1-2 days then it doesn't work but have the opposite effect on me). I thought this would help with my sleep. I only took one pill and I will say it definitely worked, i was so relaxed but I felt a little "off" and as far as that brain fog that some are telling their experiences from actually did the opposite for me, i felt very weird and strange all day and I had a 1.5 second delay in my response time and actions and cognitive thinking. I also had a slight but tolerable front lobe headache so I did not take anymore, just that one pill. While I do believe this is a very good product and that is why i gave it 4 stars, i deleted 1 star because it is just not for me. Maybe i can try a lower dose and it should do the trick? I don't know but i had to return this product because I am now 52 and cannot afford that 1.5 second response delay, I need to know i am in control of all of my cognitive functions lol.

NOW Foods is the best company for supplements! This L-Theanine is easy to swallow and works very well. I take in morning and at night. The morning is for calm during day and the night time dose helps with sleep.
