This weight set was perfect for my daughter to begin her weight lifting journey. She "feels the burn" after every workout. She changes out the different weights daily, and doesn't have any problems doing it. We purchased the 70lb option and she uses the barbell, dumbell, and kettlebell. The size is perfect for her. There haven't been any issues, and she feels they are safely secured using them. If you are starting the weight lifting journey, this is the way to go. This is the perfect investment that won't break the bank. My kids tend to change their minds on things, so if my daughter does, I'm not out hundreds of dollars. She even inspired me to give them a shot starting Monday. Highly recommend this set.

This set is exactly what I needed. 30lbs total. All plates fit nice and secure. It’s great quality and definitely feels and looks as though it’s going to last a long time. Very easy to put together! The grip is perfect, no sliding. The sizing is ideal to store on my patio. Not bulky at all. Absolutely a must buy for this price!

I hadn't used them for exercise yet and one is already broken. I was putting some weight on the bar and when I lift it vertically to put weight on the other side, it just falls apart and almost hit my foot. I don't know if you're not supposed to lift them vertically, if that's the case, my fault. On the other hand, it is not a very safe set to use because the fixed nut loosens while you exercise. So keep an eye one that. Overall, I'm a little sad because I really liked them, feels like good quality, but they have a few things that disappoint me. I personally will keep them, cause I can keep using them but I wish the bar didn't arrived damaged and that they were safer to use.

I was REALLY excited about this! It’s missing a tiny part though. One of the stopper things that keeps the plates on the bar. Just one. I was told I cannot only get a new part; I have to return the entire 40lb item if I want a replacement! Missing a couple ounce item and I have to repackage 40lbs. And the box came DESTROYED! Literally destroyed and wrapped in tape to help hold it together so I don’t even have a usable box to return this in! Really bummed. It severely limits how it can be used. No dumbbells for me. I guess I’m going to see if I can just buy the part some other way as I refuse to buy a box to put this in, but buyer BEWARE or be ready to ship it back.

It looks like a really nice product; however, it may not be suitable for shorter people. I am 5’3” tall, and when attempting to use the barbell with its full weight, my hands barely reach the proper position to hold it. It only works without all the weight, when there is more space to grip the bar—but at that point, it feels too light for me. Another potential concern I noticed: when performing exercises like hip thrusts with the full weight, the bar bends sideways in an unhealthy way, almost as if it cannot support the load. This is probably because the bar and many of the parts are made of plastic.
