I'm a huge fan of these kinds of sponges, been using them for close to a year now from various manufacturers. We don't have a dishwasher and everything gets handwashed, so we're pretty hard on our sponges. These last us about a month before we replace with a new one just for sanitation sake. I'd run it through the dishwasher to sanitize it if we had one. We compost, so it goes right into the bin with the rest of the scraps and out into the pile for the harden. The sponges are still in good shape when we compost them, but again it's just for hygiene that we replace them. I love that it doesn't shed that nasty green stuff from the scouring side of regular sponges all over my dishes. We're on septic up here in Scotland and I'm very careful about what goes down the drain. I know no plastics are going down into the tank with these little dynamos.The sponges are a bit stiff at first, but they soften up with use. Cleaning power is GREAT! They really tackle tough messes and I have not noticed any scratches on our dishses. They do not fall apart at all, unlike the cheap supermarket sponges. They are nice and thick and sturdy as well, but not as thick as the supermarket sponges. One box lasts us half a year and the garden gets fed, too!

Great sponges. hard on one side to use as a pan scrub. The soft side to wash everything else. I think these will last a lot longer thand the ordinary pan scrubs.Biodegradable too, which is helping to cut down on micro plastics. A win,win situation. Great value too.

The sponge in itself is great at cleaning and scrubbing, it scrubs burnt food off well and makes the soap foam quickly. However, I don't find it any better than the classic plastic sponges available in UK supermarkets. I did not find it lasting much longer either. I have gone through 3 out of the 6 in the pack so far, and 2 of them seemed faulty (the scourer side detached from the sponge side pretty quickly). The biggest downside for me is the scourer side, made of coconut fibres. I wash my dishes without gloves, and I find the fibres particularly hard and spiky, which is quite unpleasant.

Bought these after I felt bad my other sponge was leaving microplastics in the sea. Have been pleasantly surprised with these! They last amount of time and clean well

Great product. Long lasting. Happy to help the environment instead of poor quality sponges which cannot scrub properly and disseminate micro plastics all over.

I have waited a while to actually write this review, to really see how well these last. I can honestly say that they work really well. Last for ages & they don't develop any smell to them. More expensive than the usual green foam sponges, but they last so much longer. I will certainly be buying them again.

Really pleased with this product. I love that its natural, it works well on my frying pan and doesnt scratch. The soft side works well at holding water when i'm wiping surfaces. One sponge lasts one month, so it costs a pound per month. This is better than buying numerous rough sponges a month that just get chucked in the bin!

Great sponge! I will definitely purchase this product again. They are a little stiffer initially than other sponges, but after 2-3 uses, they feel like any other sponge. They hold soap well, and I love the fact that don't smell sour like other sponges do. They will not scratch pans, however, they don't have quite the scrapping ability of plastic sponges. But, they still work well enough. They also seem to last as long as other sponges. Highly recommend.

These actually clean just as well as the scotch brite pads. Best thing is they are bio degradable, environment friendly!
