The Airthereal Rechargeable Portable Range Hood has been an asset to my kitchen. Easy to use. Quite fan and removes steam and odors as advertised.

We have an old exhaust fan that vents outside, but it isn't very powerful. We have issues with oil residue being deposited on top of our fridge (which is right next to the stove) and on our ceiling as the vent is in the ceiling of the kitchen. We purchased this to help pull/direct the airflow up to the exhaust fan to help reduce the amount of oil buildup. So far it has helped reduce (not eliminate) the amount of oil that ends up on top of surfaces. The machine is quiet and easy to use. It does also help to reduce odor while cooking.

Worked for 6 months but filter eventually snapped while sucking in the heat from steam/cooking.

If you have poor kitchen ventilation and hate lingering food smells, buy this immediately. It is a total lifesaver. It draws all the fumes right away from the stove and catches the grease in a handy oil cup. It's very quiet and has 3 speeds. Easy to clean. Love it!

I honestly wanted to give this a good review. It does a decent job at collecting and filtering cooking smoke. HOWEVER, it is made out of thin plastic, so you have to be extremely careful to not place it anywhere close to the heat source or it will begin to melt and malfunction. I was able to use it properly about 3-4 times until it melted. Not worth the investment. Would be great if made out of metal, even if I had to pay 2x the price. As is, it’s junk.

I’ve been really happy with this little range hood. It’s compact enough to fit on my counter without taking up much space, but it’s powerful for its size. The 3-speed settings are useful, I usually keep it on low for light cooking and switch to high when frying, and it clears the smoke and smells quickly. This is gift for my husband. He absolutely loves it. Normally when he cooks fish in the house, it sets off the alarm system. So far no alarms, and the smoke goes into it. Best gift I ever bought him. Can't wait to use it camping too.

Fan and filters work surprisingly well. Unit is slightly bigger than I anticipated. Only thing I'd prefer is if I could direct it towards window, but the exhaust deflects centrifugally.

I was skeptical but it actually works very well. The fan is strong and the filter works. After cooking stir-fry, my clothes don't smell like fry anymore. The battery charge lasts about a week with moderate use.
