Excellent out of the box plug and play wifi extender
Really impressed with this gear. I've used Ubiquiti in the past but customer wanted a bit of a cheaper option. After reading reviews I went ahead and purchased this pack. It was great that you get plug in Poe pushers with it and mounting brackets . All set up really easily just literally plug and play . No complicated set up . I installed a TP link omada wireless AP at the garden kitchen and everything works like a dream. Same speeds as at the main router.Highly recommend this stuff .

Easy as pie and solid signal to bridge wifi
I have POE Cameras located in iur stables around 60m from the barn so wanted to use this to do a line of sign network to bridge the gap.Plugged the AP and STA in and left them facing each other until they picked up a signal. I then went and hung one on the corner of the barn pointing at the stables and hooked up an ethernet cable (I didnt need to use the POE injector as I had POE switches already in place).I went down to the stables and hung the STA on the corner in a rough direction of the AP and plugged it in, again into a POE swotch, no router at this end just switch and Cameras.Instantly I noticed the Cameras were not lagging and getting over 4000kbps on the reolink streamsAmazed how easy these were to setup and how good they are

Attractive units, sturdy but short mounts, good, stable signal, ideal for remote locations
This entire kit feels massive, but it is actually the smallest point-to-point bridge system that I have come across thus far. I would actually go so far as to call this one portable, if one has a decent storage case in which to keep it. Increasingly, I have found it a necessity to prepare similar backup systems when working in remote locations because once-reliable signals now drop all the time and make it impossible to get a steady and fast connection at crucial moments. This is also very handy on large properties with patchy reception - much better than the smaller plug-in units which are on the market.The instructions are aimed at people who have a lot of experience of such installations. I would therefore recommend that you contact a professional, or a knowledgeable friend if you are not confident in your skills and have no idea about network jargon and setups. I actually found the illustrations in the booklet to be much more helpful than the text, so it is good that these were included.I have not been able to test this across the specified 3 km distance as it is very difficult to get the required "line of sight" installation position across such a distance, especially in built-up areas. In addition, although the mounts which are included are sturdy, they are quite short, so won't clear any of the obstacles at roof height unless the buildings are out in a remote place.Once you have waded through the booklet and determined how you want your setup to be (this takes time, believe me), you will find that the signal is stable and reliable enough to work with, which is all that is needed for peace of mind and productivity. It is honestly NOT difficult to set up, it's just that at first glance it is daunting. My understanding is that not many wireless bridges come with the POE adapters, so this is indeed a complete kit, ready to set up and go.Considering the quality of the kit, I do think that the £169.99 is good value, especially now that there is a voucher price of £144.99.

Simple effective WiFi solution for an outbuilding
This was really easy to setup and came with everything you needed in the box (other than any cable you need to attach the transmitter/receivers (obv this will be different for everyone), and an old router I used to be the 'wifi' at the end). Seems really good quality.I sent through a window in my house to a log cabin 30m away, and got 70mb WiFi (only have 100mb in my house, so minimal loss). Easy instructions. Would recommend.

Read to solve your problem
It will work perfectly if you do this.I systematically troubleshoot all components as I was only getting 3-5mbps even with my supply router being at 100mbps (Starlink).If you have slow speeds, try this first:Buy a $15 5 port nonmanaged gigaswitch (type that into Amazon). Here's the issue many of you are struggling with for slow speeds. I bet 90% of those with slow speeds would be resolved by doing this. It's not this product's fault, it's your internet provider's equipment and this is the dumbyproof fix.If your internet provider equipment is set for gigabit connection and your receiving equipment (like this 100mbps-300mbps bridge can't complete a proper software handshake, it will default to the universal slower 10mbps speed. Your starting speed will be 10mbps and then drop as it's beamed to the other device, you'll end up with 3-5mbps no matter what you do. This is by design, it reverts to the universal 10mbps standard in case it's working with old equipment (lots of countries, offices, or rural areas may still have older equipment).If you plug the 5 port unmanaged gigabit switch inline BEFORE the master transmitter (plug from your internet provider equipment into the 5 port switch with an ethernet cable), then plug an ethernet cable from the 5 port switch to the master transmitter (A), you will get close to max speed. You'll still lose some speed as it travels, but that will resolve most issues for you. I went from 3mbps average to 70-80mbps, knowing my Starlink will transmitter 105mbps straight to my phone. So I lose 20mbps over the hop, I could dial it in more but 80mbps is enough for my kid's school and streaming.Try that before anything else. See tip below for lining up the transmitters with a laser pen. You can be up to 30 degrees off and still connect. The closer you are the better the speeds, but you're looking at 5-10% speed improvement with proper alignment, nothing perfect, but helps a little.Extra steps you can play with but honestly just start with the items above and you'll be all set. You're going to chase your own tail when the fix is so easy.I went cmd line and speed tested every cable and every component, I adjusted to 40hz instead of the 20 it is set at, I turned the broadcast power down to 15% power to prevent extra "noise" since my system was only covering a 70 ft gap. Being that close with the transmitter at 100% floods the signal and causes extreme packet loss. When I lowered it incrementally to 25% then 15%, 15% was the sweet spot for my 70 foot distance and my packet loss went to 0%. 100% success. So that you know, these devices can transmit for 900-1,000 feet successfully (300 meters).If that 5 port switch doesn't work for you, you can log into each of the transmitters independently and change from 20hz to 40hz to increase your max to 300mbps between the two transmitter devices. Verified through testing, it worked. You can also take it down incrementally from 100% broadcast power down to 25% and so on. You want the signal strength to be in the -50dBm range to be in the maximim sweet spot to avoid either from creating interference for the other (collisions and packet loss). Mine did well at 15%, I could have gone down to 10% but I was fine getting 80mbps for my needs.To access those devices you have to plug into the black poe injector plug on the LAN side. The POE cable needs to be plugged into your transmitter from that black POE pkug (power it on). You need to change your laptop ip address and install to match the same subnet as the devices (it's in the manual), but its 192.168.255.150 (pick 1150for your laptop). You can use AI to walk you through that. To access the master transmitter (A), you type in 192.168.255.100 make sure your browser doesn't make it https, remove the "s" if you have issues, that was an issue my Firefox browser was causing, many modern browsers default to https. You need to be http for this to work. Login and pword is admin and admin. In the 2nd tab to the left click and then you can change "20" to "40". Then change the power scale if you're not near -50dBM, drop it to 25% (everything you do to one transmitter you have to do to the second before either will work if you're adjusting the settings. Scroll down, hit save. A pop up comes up, scroll up, click Apply, wait 5 seconds then go to the other transmitter "B" (slave device). Notice the change to access from your browser will be 192.168.255.200 (200 instead of 100 for the 2nd device). You have to plug into the black POE plug that is connected to the second device to access it'sasmin settings. Do the same, login is admin pword is admin. Change 20 to 40, drop the broadcast level down to 25% if you're not around -50dBM.Scroll down, hit save. Scroll up, click apply. Wait 5 seconds, close.If you're shooting across 700-1,000 feet leave it at 100%Set it to 50% if you're aiming for 500-699 feet.Set it to 25% if you're shooting 150-499 feet.Set it to 10-15% if you're under 150 feet.Lower it to 5% if you're less than 50 feet between transmitters.Give both devices about 30 seconds to think after you've made the changes and saved it twice (save at the bottom, "apply" at the top).Make sure your master transmitter is slid to "A" on the bottom switch. This is what you plug your internet SOURCE into from that 5 gigabit switch. You're to 5 port switch, 5 port switch to LAN on thr master.Make sure you "B" slave/receiving device is slid to B on the bottom slider.It will auto pick the same channel, nothing you need to do there.These have enough power to send and receive up to 300 meters (900-1,000 feet). Line of side, I used a laser pointer, held flush on the bottom of a transmitter and point straight out, then adjust the transmitter until the laser pointer lines up to the bottom of the other transmitter. Then go to the 2nd transmitter and repeat, hold it flush to the 2nd transmitter pointing straight out, then move the transmitter up/down, side to side until the laser hits roughly the same area on the other transmitter. That is the easiest way to linebthem up.(Master/Slave is the old lingo in computing and this user manual refers to those terms which is why I use them here. The manual will not tell you how to do all of these steps. It is all easier than it sounds. I have a background in IT so it was easy for me, but honestly, AI can walk you through this. Don't fear using cmd, it's easy.Don't forget to turn your laptop back to dchp before you try to reconnect. You'll need to get off that 192.168.255.xxx subnet to get back online.

Nosotros no entendemos de estas cosas. Necesitábamos poder poner una cámara/videoportero en la entrada que está a más de 100 metros del router. Llevar un cable ethernet hasta allí era atravesar paredes y árboles. Los repetidores inalámbricos dan problemas con paredes y distancias, así que probamos con éste.Conectamos el maestro (ya vienen configurados) con cable ethernet directo al router dentro de la casa y conectado a un enchufe (lo trae), el otro (el esclavo) a un punto de corriente a más de 100 metros fuera de la casa y los encendimos, sin hacer nada más, al poco tiempo se conectaron perfectamente creando un puente de línea wifi como si hubieras tirado un cable hasta allí.El esclavo no emite señal de wifi inalámbrica, quiero decir que si te acercas con un móvil no recibes señal, pero lleva salida ethernet para poder conectar la cámara que hemos comprado. Atraviesa una pared y un muro y llega perfectamente la señal a más de 100 m y es para intemperie.Así que para nosotros ha sido una solución excepcional con un funcionamiento impecable.

Fonctionne super bien
J'avais besoin d'installer une webcam a plus de 100m de mon hotspot WiFi. Cet appareil fonctionne a merveille. Alimentation PoE (adaptateur fourni). Aucun reglage. Aligmement sans difficulté (pas besoin d'etre super précis). Des supports pour le monter sur un pilone ou un mur. Seul petit bemol, le plastique du boitier fait (c'est juste une impression) cassant. Mais comme on ne va pas taper dessus tous les jours. Franchement je suis super impressionné des performances.
