My teenage granddaughter was absolutely thrilled with this mannequin head! It quickly became her favorite gift. The quality of the hair is excellent and allows her to practice countless hairstyles, braids, and styling techniques. She has spent hours and hours using it and continues to enjoy it every day. It's a gift that truly keeps on giving, providing endless fun and creativity. My daughter is 12 but does her own hair a lot and asked for a head so she can practice styles on. She is also considering becoming a hairdresser so styles makeup and hair constantly. This mannequin is nice it clips on to her vanity. It is easy to style and the hair combs through nicely. It doesn’t shed too much and seems like it will be easy to curl and cut if she chooses to.

This is not real human hair. For cosmetologist who are wanting to bleach or color. This will not lift. Bleach has been sitting on hair for 3 hours. I’m very disappointed. 😔

This was purchased for my niece that is almost 3 & 1/2. For the amount of items included in it, ease of using for practicing makeup looks, and the fairly dense and long hair to practice on.... It's a great deal, esp for someone looking to use it as a toy or to learn new looks. The color was a good match to the image though I'd call it light auburn brown. My niece LOVES it and is learning how to use make up, make up brushes, and is learning to do basic hair styles. We have yet to wash the hair or use heating tools but will update if she gets to that level of hair styling. She ADORES has it attached to her little vanity. Makeup of all kind (adult & teen/,child) has simply wiped off with baby wipes or make up remover wipes. Plus, she loves that she always has a willing face to practice on or hair to brush/style. I think it might even be her fav gift she got for Xmas! I'm excited to give her my older makeup (or stuff I didn't like as much) so she can save her "good" makeup for her face.

Little less shedding but pretty good overall. Washed and air dried. Doesn’t tangle which is good. Hair feels soft and natural. Love the color of hair. I feel like it’s gonna last a long time. Perfect size for my daughter to practice on. Comes with some accessories.

My 3rd purchase! These dolls are great for 6-12 yr old girls! It started with my 2nd oldest granddaughter asked me for it for a Christmas present. 2 yrs later her sister, 4 yrs later my youngest. They practically have a hair salon going in there when they get together! In all seriousness, they really help girls learn to brush and manage their hair!

As a cosmo student i have mixed feelings about this mannequin. I love the thickness of the hair. And it was pretty soft at first. But its not 100% human hair, i think maybe 80%. There are a few spots that are hard to curl and those same spots look a little melted. And it smells nows. Im guessing from the hot tools. Its a good one to practice braiding and cutting though.
