Love this 17mm flex head for shallow sockets!
I purchased this to accompany my Astro Tools shallow drive socket set. It is a must have for this! Couldn't be happier with the tool quality and value. I own other Dura-Tech tools and didn't second guess this purchase.

Must have alongside 3/8" nano sockets
My only complaint with this tool is that it's not reversible. Otherwise it makes nano sockets much more useful. I wish they would make this same tool with a 22mm size to fit the 1/2" drive nano sockets, or maybe even 19mm size to fit harbor freight /Pittsburgh go- thru sockets. I plan on welding a ratchet handle to a flex head 22mm ratcheting wrench to make my own for bigger nano sockets. This tool matched with nano sockets is good for belt tensioners etc, and basically makes my serpentine belt tool obsolete.

Not sure how well it holds the nano sockets
The media could not be loaded. I didn’t even know Duratech made a wrench to work with the Astro 3/8 sockets. Since Amazon can deliver this wrench in one day I figured I would give it a try. It works but I not sure if the astro wrench hold the sockets better. I went to order the astro and today it is currently unavailable. Will update when I get the astro wrench.BTW Astro makes a 10 1/2 inch wrench so I ordered that as well to compare.Update:Aug 22, 2024I received the astro equivalent of thus wrench and here is a list of differences; The swivel is much tighter on the astro. The thickness is thinner on the astroThe holding power of the nano sockets is better on the astroIs this is what the wrench should have done then I am bringing it down to three stars from four!

DURATECH Extra Long Flex Head Nano Socket Ratchet Wrench, 144-P, Double-Stacked Pawls, CR-V
This is the second one I ordered. The first one I sent back because of the spring was too small and it didn't hold the socket. The second one it's okay, but the spring inside that holds the socket still needs to be a little larger although it holds the sockets but it's just not as strong as it should be I feel. Thank you!

Floppy head design flaw defeats the purpose of the tool
The tool is long and feels nice. Fits Astro nano sockets great.BUT, what happens is ... when you put the tool with nano socket in a hard to reach space to reach the fastener, and attach it to the 6 point socket, as soon as you touch the socket to the fastener, the flex head just flops over away from the fastener. All it takes is for a simple shake, and the flex head flops over to a 90 degree angle. There are no ridged teeth in the joint of the flex head for "clicked" positions. It should AT LEAST have that. But it's all smooth. What it really should have is a locking mechanism for the flex headThe floppy flex head makes this tool absolutely useless and frustrating.I'm so disappointed.DO NOT BUY THIS. If you do, you will discover exactly what I did, and will have wasted your time.

Ratchet head has way too much slop
Ratchet feels nice in the hands but Astro sockets barely stay clipped in and watched head is stiff now but can see that as others say will become loose and flop over. Problem is that the mechanism has may too much play. The bottom of the ratchet moves 4.5 inches before the next tooth engages on a 144 tooth split paw design. Totally defeats the purpose of using this in tough to reach places where the ratchet can’t move much. Returning and getting the Astro version
