Living in an urban environment, we walk everywhere so when it's rainy, it's important to have a good umbrella that can withstand wind and protects well. I researched for a long time and selected this one for both its unique design as well as its warranty claim. When it came, I was impressed with its build quality. It was very study yet easy to operated. I especially liked the button closure, though it was a little difficult to fully close for my children. It repels rain well, especially with the 2-tier design and I haven't had any issues with it flipping inside out. When collapsed, it's small and light enough, especially for the strong materials. I had an issue with one of the spokes coming undone which prevented the umbrella from closing properly and reached out to their customer service who very promply made good on the lifetime warranty. I was pleasantly surprised with that since you never know how that can turn out and am pleased to report that it is 100% true! Overall, I am very pleased with this umbrella and would happily recommend it to anyone else!

Absolutely love this umbrella. Purchased this two years ago and now I am buying another for my mom. I was able to test this umbrella pretty well on a trip to the UK. During the trip, this umbrella performed spectacularly during particularly high winds. When facing the wind head on, the umbrella did not invert at all but rather expanded the slightest to take it in. On another gusty day, the umbrella inverted ever so slightly but reverted back immediately. I still use this umbrella to this day. It is also great under very sunny and hot California days. A very versatile umbrella that can be used in many environments. The umbrella itself is pretty light and not too big when collapsed. I always keep it on the side of my backpack. Love how well the open and close button works. It works great to this day after two whole years, a true testament of its durability. The only thing is, you do have to push the umbrella back down to open it up again.

I had an excellent umbrella that I had for years, I left it somewhere. In looking for a similar quality I found the Tumella umbrella. I ordered it. When it came I was impressed with packaging and top quality. I opened it and immediately saw a loose connection so I contacted the company. There was s very quick response and after sending pictures the company replaced the umbrella without question. I am extremely pleased with Tummela. They do what they say. I highly recommend them. The new umbrella is strong and well built. I like it.

Stopped working after 2nd use. Doesnt retract fully and won't stay opened even when trying manually.<(obsolete) EDIT: The orignal product I recieved was faulty, maybe damaged in shipping or it skipped QC. I was sent a new product within days of citing a complaint. Literally overnight shipped, which was great because I'm in the heavy rainy season and was almost tempted to buy another, but glad I waited a day. This umbrella is truly phenomenal, I do like the breather flaps on top that allow winds to pass through rather than creating upward currents/draffs, which would turn the umbrella inside out. Will buy for friends and would like to change my rating to 5-stars but can't some reason. May have to delete this review and put a fresh one up. Thank you for your phenomenal customer support, I'll recommend you to everyone. (I'll send updates and pics in the future) ***Well an update a day later, it does NOT hold up to any wind at all. It's not broken, but instantly flipped inside out from a random gust of wind during a quick little rain snap. Smallest gust and it flipped. I just let and arm get wet while I held it down but eventually gave up and ran back inside(was trying to save all the kitties outside because they aren't smart enough to run for shelter yet). Still happy with the purchase for the price. Most people don't have umbrellas so I'm still happy with the purchase. Not sure what the 100+mph guarantee means. Maybe those wind speeds cant break it but it will turn inside out, idk...

I love this umbrella it's made exactly like they described. It's strong, endurable and beautiful. And I like the compact size of it so you can carry it in your purse or pouch

I've had this umbrella for over a year and have taken it with me on my travels. It works great. It's sturdy, and the rain doesn't seep through the material. For the most part, the wind doesn't affect it much, except on one or two occasions. Overall though, I'm happy I purchased it. For the price point and quality, it has served its purpose well.

I’ve purchased two of these umbrellas, one for myself and one for my daughter. We both love the designs and automatic open feature. Customer service is especially fantastic as we have had some issues with the umbrellas breaking in some way, but we’ve received replacements for them super quickly and easily. Gen helped us out this time and is so kind, it’s like communicating with a friend! They’re lightweight and portable but big and durable enough to shield you from the rain. We love them.

The umbrella looks nice, feels well built, and easy to use. Have used in sunny, windy, and rainy conditions - does a good job. A tiny amount of water gets through the wind vents under extremely heavy rain, but this can be mitigated by holding the umbrella at a steady angle. So far it's a reasonable compromise considering how well it's holding up during heavy rain and wind.

The umbrella is of a high quality, extremely well made and sturdy with a choice of unique designs. It is a bit bigger and heavier than your average umbrella, but is still compact enough to easily carry in a rucksack/bag. So far has been tested in heavy rain and windy conditions and it hasn’t let me down yet, would recommend

A great little brolly, which can stand up to the Edinburgh winds, which come from any direction. It is also stylish and fun and when its a horrible day you can just imagine yourself lying on the beach in the picture. There customer service is great as well, if you ever need to contact them.

This is huge and heavy. I wanted a very small, lightweight umbrella so had to return it. Picture shows a small umbrella next to it for comparison.
