ASUS DRW-24D5MT - Internal 24X DVD Burner (Black) with M-DISC Support for Lifetime Data Backup

Just received this product a few days before. I have used other makes but this brand surpasses all. We as customers write a product review, in my opinion some products need detailed review so that other buyers will have an idea about the product, other than this the seller is also as important as the product, no doubt amazon helps secure your money and their service is TOP-NOTCH, but i would like to mention about the seller also. The seller of the product i received from is TPS Technologies. The seller has given this product as fresh as a company boxed item but without box. The dvd writer came in a ASUS plastic sealed bag with ASUS logos written on it (tamper proof bag) and it also came with an ASUS installation CD with some softwares in it. Its manufactured date is jan 2017 and date of import is jan 2017. The pricing is reasonable. The product works perfectly and its mint fresh.. What more do you want. So in my opinion this is one of the best in my many list of products.Thanks to seller and Amazon.

I have been using this product for over a week now and it is performing really good. My previous DVD-RW drive broke down so, I decided to purchase this one and I am satisfied with the product. However the packaging is not so good there is no box pack except amazons packaging. I have literally received this product in polythene packaging that is disappointing to me. They are bulk products but I atleast believe that it should contain a box.

This Asus DVD RW drive reads and writes fast. I had my old Sony DVD writer which performed ok but it had only IDE connector. When I upgraded the Motherboard (+Processer +Memory) it had no IDE connector only SATA connector. Local stores wanted Rs1400/- for LG DVD writer with SATA connector. This Asus DVD RW is available on Amazon for Rs1075/- only. And Asus is a reputed company which makes computers! LG is not a computer company. So I selected this. It wrote fast with 24x speed. My upgraded system also might have helped in speed. it wrote 4.37 GB data in 6 minutes! You can buy without any hesitation.

- I had 2 dvd which could not be read by my laptop drive, That drive couldn't recogonize the disc and said there was no disk in the drive. - I gave those 2 dvd to another person with desktop dvd drive to copy but he said that the disk was recogonised but reading got stuck midway. - Then I purchased this one to try for myself and just like a piece of cake both disc was read effortlessly in the first try itseld, thank God. - From my experience I feel this drive is a solid drive. (I have had it only for few hours so take my review with a pinch of salt) - BTW the packing was horrible, just horrible - simply wrapped in a single layer plastic bag!! Thank God it was not damaged.

First of all the packaging was horrible for an electronic item. High possibility of getting damaged in transit. I put the drive in a new desktop running Win 10 and it did not recognise any of my DVD. All drivers are installed. Looks like it’s a faulty piece. I am going for replacement. I simply went by rating/review comments of this product here. Buy this at your own risk. Edit: I got a replacement very quickly but the new drive is very very slow to read. 500 MB of data transfer takes almost 1 hour. Have used different SATA 3 cables but problem not solved. I would go for another quality brand and box packed.

Device is working well. But no SATA cable and fitting screw pack comes with it, I use it by salvaging the old one. There is no amazon packing. Just received such of the delicate product in a sealed plastic packet luckily undamaged. Amazon did not provide even bubbled shock absorbing wrapping. I really disappoint in this point so gave only 3-star rating.

I think drive perform like every any other new drives, as off now I'm still analyzing it to provide a better review bcoz I know how much it means to all users here. On average the DVD rw at 4 to 8 mbps & on graph it will show to goes as low as 512kb to 20mbps. Write quality also very good. All software they give is useless as I use Nero Platinum 2018. It takes 14min to write 4.7gb of data. All in on a good drive for now bcoz it's still new I will come back again.

It's a solid buy indeed I like sellers who stick as per the description and image on Amazon. It's a great DVD for anyone upgrading their Desktop and just wants something better like me😉🙂 I highly recommend this seller for any item purchase by far the best experience. I can't fault this product, easy installation and works like a dream, great value for money, the one I bought came exceptionally well wrapped and delivered on time, buy with confidence, installed on a pc running w7.

4～5年使ってたASUSのドライブですが、読み込みエラーが頻発してきたので買い換えました。 買い換えましたが１月で上記と同じ症状で壊れました。

Lieferung brauchte zwar etwas Geduld, aber trotzdem schneller geliefert als ursprünglich geplant. Brenner eingebaut, die zwei Kabel vom alten Laufwerkes angesteckt, eingeschaltet, Laufwerk sofort erkannt, was will man mehr. DVD abspielen klappt schon mal. Ich denke der Rest, sprich Brennen, sollte auch klappen. Hervorzuheben wäre noch der sehr günstige Preis. Es liegen keine Anleitung, Software und Kabel bei, was ja auch nicht Umfang des Angebots ist. Aber diese Dinge hat man beim Wechsel eines defekten Laufwerkes ja eh schon. Also von mir klare Kaufempfehlung.
