DARKFANG Tactical Flashlight 1500 Lumen for Shotgun/Pistol Light

5 stars for its value. For the price, it is an excellent light packed with many features, the best one being that it is USBC rechargeable. The light itself is good for 40 yards and under with plenty of splash. It does not quite have a hotspot thus it will not provide very good light anymore say beyond 50 yards. One should not expect the performance of more premium priced weapon lights out there, particularly at distance. But for the indoor and shorter outdoor distances it is very good and lights up a wide area. It mounts well and snug on the rail. The buttons are good, but in this area again one should not expect the performance of premium brands. Upon receiving the item, I was surprised with its size. It is larger than I had expected, particularly its height. Other than this, I think it's a great light for the price, good for light to medium duty.

It looks great and of decent quality. I cannot compare it to my other ones that I paid 10x as much, but for the prices it’s a great add to my bedside. Bright enough and a perfect fit to my full size. Controls function as they should and lite enough if you don’t want too much weight. Great buy and I hope it lasts.

$20 Budget light works well for mounting on most of my small arms. This light is standard to be compatible with any compact pistols up to Full size ones. Lighting range clear of 50-80 feet especially when in a dark terrain. However, not really thinking it’s illuminating at 1500 lum but definitely 1000 or so..Just out of eagerness I purchased two because cannot go wrong with a backup! Pros: Budget friendly, shines brightly, easy to assemble and mount, type-C charging port, light weight, overall fits most common lower receivers/frames/picatinny rails (etc.) Cons: The durability of the polymer material finish will scratch easily, the lens could be built with stronger glass, after a 5-10 min time span of operation the frame of the light gives off heavy warmth that you can feel at your finger tips resting on the trigger guard. But I mean $20 imported, cannot beat it. **Just throwing my two-cents here with a helpful tip (For long term stowage in safes or cases I recommend medium-strength loc-tite or an adhesive just as capable to crust over the fitting, for extra durability.) I’ve definitely got my Money’s-worth, then again it’s up to the consumer if you want to pay 10x’s more for a TLR or Holosun be my guess! Lol that money saved is being put towards more mags/ammo/ safety gear!! Best of luck if this review could be helpful to someone else.

Over all a great light, very bright, buttons are responsive, and easy to reach with my dominant hand and support hand. The press and hold for strobe is good, but I have had the strobe go off when just wanting the quick light function. The design is clean, very light weight. Fit on the G19 with out any issue or wobble. I got it as a test light, trying out a "large" light but might run it till I need to upgrade.

Good quality and bright light. I like how the switch works ... 1 quick press and light stays on, 1 longer press and light is only on while you hold it. The strobe feature is only activated by 2 quick presses and does not get turned on unless intended. You don't have to cycle through any switch settings to get what you want. Very nice light.

Unexpectedly brighter than expected . Works great. Shocked it's so decent for the price. I own sofrin and convoy lights with 26650s and 21700 batteries, have had many 18650 led lights over the years,,,,haven't taken this light apart yet, idk why I would need to. Best “cheap” light I have ever purchased. Thing is easy to use easy to install. Super bright with a broad view. Worth every penny

I have been messing around with the cheap Chinese lights recently. There are some intriguing options out there, none of which I would use for carry or duty. However, Something like a pistol that sits on a night stand, a .22 or even airsoft, these lights are awesome. In my case I use this on my older Canik TP9 SFX. Those guns were notorious for having out of spec rails and mine is no different. This fits the rail perfectly. It is rather large but it is also super bright. It feels solid enough and for as big as it is, it even hilariously fits on my APX A1 Compact. For $20 for the non-laser version it is no brainer for non-carry/duty use.
