What a relief!
I have tried so many different systems over decades, finally someone made it right! This is a life changing product for us. It is hygienic, easy, portable and highly functional. They are expensive but worth every penny. I was able to do so much with the one I got, I got 2 more! Whether for a cabin, RV, boat, campground, off- grid, on a floor without a bathroom, or temporary need for an extra bathroom, you will find it has a versatility of uses. Excellent customer service as well. It has made our lives more comfortable and convenient. Also someone heavier than 350 lbs has used it comfortably.

Absolutely AMAZING Toilet + The Best Customer Service Ever!
Absolutely AMAZING Toilet + The Best Customer Service Ever We live off-grid, so having a reliable toilet is a huge deal for us. I actually bought two Modiwell toilets because my sons cabin is far from ours so 2 made the most sense. I have to say this really imporved our qaulity of living which seems silly but when lots of things are hard one thing that is easier makes a huge difference. They are super convenient, saves water, and honestly feels cleaner and nicer than a regular toilet, and no smell (I know its hard to believe but seriously no smell.) Needless to say we loved them right away. After a few days, the toilet started showing an error sign when flushing, which meant I had to turn it off and back on and then re-flush because of this issue I would sometimes use 2 -4 bags per flush every use. My sons also had this issue but his was much less frequent. That was super disappointing because bags are precious due to cost. I reached out to Modiwell customer service, and they responded the same day by email and voicemail. They were incredibly kind and helpful. They sent me new guide parts for both toilets, right away plus videos showing exactly how to install everything, AND replacement bags. Unfortunately, after installing the new parts, the error was still happening. I sent them a video of the sealing process, and once they realized the issue couldnโt be fixed by me, they went above and beyond: They sent me a brand-new toilet AND more replacement bags! That seriously blessed us. Out here, water is a commodity, and this toilet saves us so much. Before this, we used a sawdust composting system, and Modiwell is honestly on another level. It feels like a regular toilet but even betterโalways super clean, soft-close lid, very sturdy, and the height is perfect. Iโm extremely thankful for Modiwell and their amazing customer service. They truly took care of us, and my family appreciates it more than they know. If youโre off-grid or just want a clean, reliable, no-smell solution, this is absolutely the toilet to get. Our new toilet has been working great, no issues for any of us. Thanks for the best customer experience I have ever had. Best purchase decision worth the cost. Thanks, Modiwell!!

Looking for a dry flush toilet at a reasonable price - this is the one
For what the Modiwell is, it is the best dry flush toilet on the market for the price. I did consider the Laveo at nearly double the price, but looked also at the disposable material that has to be repurchased and the double-the-price dry flush toilet's disposables last half as long, basically, as that of the Modiwell's disposable material. I also believe that the Modiwell's disposable material (along with your business) are biodegradable and I don't recall that being the case with the other toilet's material. Is it perfect? Well...we are talking about the thing most of us would rather not think about until we have to do it, right? And in most homes, it flushes away where we DON'T think about it, but if you are in an RV or camping without access, this, in my opinion, is the absolute best over ALL the rest. The battery does need charging, but lasts a long time and tells you (on the front panel) how much of a charge the battery still has. What I really love is that THIS toilet's legs fold so it "packs down" for easier transport (and only weighs 17 pounds, yet can hold big ladies like myself - states that it will hold up to 350 pounds of weight on the toilet and while I'm not near that, I'm a larger lady and it holds me just fine). There are a couple of things that I need to share - one is that I apparently loaded my first set of bags poorly (I read the instructions, but apparently didn't do it just right) and the little wheels that the bag material must pass through to seal each business bag, they got wrapped in plastic and I had to tear the plastic away from the wheels. I ended up throwing that first set of bags away as it seemed that whatever happened on my first few test uses, those little wheels kept getting covered in plastic. I was VERY engaged and gentle with the second set of bag material and have had no issues with it at all (so as stated, operator error on the first roll), but do be very gentle and careful when loading the material, is all I want to say. Second thing, I wish the bags were...dark blue, dark green, just anything but white! I'm just saying that I have to pick up these little bags and I'd prefer not to be able to see anything in them at all!!! Other than that, for the price, this is truly the one I'd pick again and again.

I would buy it again
I'm 6 ft 280 lb male. I was concerned about trying to use this thing. But the first time I used it was very comfortable and worked like it says it would. The only problem that I had with it was at one point I tried to use it and the legs collapsed my fault. Make sure the legs are extended properly and that you don't try to shuffle it or move it while you're on it. I didn't break anything. the legs just folded in. But is the best portable toilet I have ever used.

Holds charge well, does not smell, sturdy!
We bought this toilet for our conversion van. It is amazing. Itโs much smaller than a cassette and I think of it as an adult diaper genie. It has little to no smell. It is sturdy and somehow the seat is more comfortable than a regular toilet. We did have the error 4 issue and called the manufacturer. They were actually amazing, they sent an upgraded part and had us send a video in to make sure it was not a bigger issue. The part corrected the problem. They also sent more bags and a nighttime urine collector. Best customer service I have ever experienced. I work in the medical field and I think this could revolutionize bedside commodes.. I will caution do not slide it around quickly as it can catch and a leg can come down. But when stationary it is crazy sturdy. The unit is so small and easy for us to stow and pull out quickly for use. This is even great in California when you donโt want to use a public restroom. Highly recommend.

Kind of disappointed (and now VERY disappointed after Modiwell "reached out")
*EDIT* Modiwell saw my review below and reached out to offer a full refund if I return the unit, which is cool, but no great thing really, since I had that option all along through Amazon. BUT what was also in the communication from Modiwell was the suggestion to "sit on the toilet when urinating โ this naturally directs the flow straight down and significantly reduces the chance of urine staying on the unsealed part of the liner." Does this company really think that people don't know how to use a toilet? Good grief. Additionally, the use of AI to write responses to unhappy customers is just sloppy. I really wish I hadn't purchased this toilet. The good: there are no containers to clean, nothing to dump, and no reason to haul stinky waste around any longer than it takes to find a trash can. The main reason I bought the Modiwell was because it creates individual sealed waste packs. I had originally planned to buy the Laveo Dry Flush, but I didnโt like that its โflushโ creates a twisted section of enclosed waste that stays connected to the rest of the cartridge, kind of like a Diaper Genie. That means youโre basically stuck carrying everything until the cartridge is used up...that's a hard no for me. The Modiwell 'flush' makes it so you can dispose of each use whenever you want. However, the big downside is the way the bag/liner sits inside the unit. The Laveo suctions the liner down and creates more of an open bucket-style interior. The Modiwell does not. That becomes a problem unless you can pee straight down with no forward angle. If not, part of the liner that does not get sealed during the flush can stay wet. So even though the waste pack itself is sealed, you may still end up with residual urine inside the toilet area. So overall: I like the individual disposal design a lot, but the liner fit/design needs improvement. I probably would not have bought this unit if I had realized that this problem exists.

Great toilet for RV or CAMPING
Works as well if not better than the more expensive wrap on unit that we own. Refills are cheaper for this unit as well. Great toilet.

Air tight disposal of sealed contents might be an issue
Test run went well. The concept is good. The first use seemed to go well but the sealed package apparently isn't air tight. Leaving a smelly situation.

Brilliant!!!
Absolutely amazing. Itโs the THIRD toilet I have bought for my caravan. I was very unhappy with my previous two. This does EXACTLY what I want but the most important thing is that the ongoing cost is nowhere near as high as other systems. This has changed my life. I TOTALLY recommend.

Smart dry and easy to operate.
I am very impressed with the functionality of this toilet. No plumbing, no electricity, no black water, no cassette, and most of all no unwanted odors in a closeted space! I am glad I waited for this type of dry toilet. I definitely recommend it for a class B camper van.

Good value - works as advertised
Works exactly as advertised. Top quality and very compact. A little pricey but the value is there. Hopefully longivity is there as well.

Lightweight and portable.
Haven't had the opportunity to use this yet but will once we go off grid. It fits perfectly inside our shower enclosure in our campervan but can be easily removed to provide more space to move around. I plan on using it outside in a portable, folding tent enclosure. I like the idea of the heat sealing bags with no muss or fuss or having to deal with cassettes, water/chemicals. It includes a custom fit cover and carry bag.
