This is a well-made slide viewer and everything works as explained on the website. I wanted it to preview old slides before digitizing them. However.... from the main website picture, it looks like the slide is magnified large enough to fit in the 3"x3" window. But it is not. You still have to look down inside the viewing window to see the slide, and it really isn't much bigger than the original slide size. That was misleading for me. It does work well, the slides slide in easily, the backlight is good, the image quality is as good as the quality of the original slide, and the slide pops out nicely. Well made, the instructions are easy to understand, and the price is right.

Just what I needed to review my Dad's old slides without a huge investment. Very easy to use. Screen size is comfortable as the old viewers were tiny. I also appreciated being able to have a power cord instead of batteries. It did come with 4 batteries.

This inexpensive little gadget was perfect for my needs. I have a small number of slides to view and digitize. It works fine, is easy and made my sentimental side very happy! Very satisfied.

High quality slide viewer, fast shipping. Battery lasts long, also plugs in. Clear view of slides. Only issue is that it’s quite heavy, since the lens is glass, so it’s not well suited for travel. During a power outage, we had fun using this to view old slides, and we rode out the outage with some great memories and entertainment thanks to this viewer.

I needed a slide viewer that did not cost as much as the name brand slide viewers. I simply wanted to view the sides, not upload them or digitize them, and this is perfect.It is a sturdy viewer and has good weight so it’s not going to be flopped around or knocked off easily. It came with batteries, instructions, a USB cord, and a cloth to clean the lens off with which is really nice.The LED light is super bright, like really bright, holy cow! So bright, that I actually just held a few slides up to the light before deciding whether or not I wanted to put them in the viewer, that’s how bright the light is. It’s actually really nice.I have not tried film strips or anything like that, so I cannot speak on that. But for easily viewing slides, and putting them in from the back viewing them, and then push pushing the button on the side to eject them into the little tray below, you can’t beat that.The screen size is magnified, but it’s not magnified so much that you are getting a super close view of it, but a hack for that is use the camera on your phone to zoom in to any slides you want to see more closely. That’s what I did in one of the pictures I shared. Otherwise, I find the size of the image to be great.The one drawback is dirt or dust or any material that gets on the inside in between the viewer and the light, there’s not an easy way to remove that. So I suggest getting a small container of canned air like you would use to clean off a computer in order to keep the dust removed as you put slides in and out of the viewer.

Very happy with this purchase, it is simple to use, the slides are easy to see and so far the battery life has been very good. I bought it for my elderly mom to look through a big box of old slides to choose some to digitize and she hasn't had any problems doing so. The image quality is fine, it's bright enough for her to easily see the slides and they are large enough to see if its something she wants to keep.
