FHI Heat UNbrush Plus Ultra-Light Detangling Brush for Fine & Fragile Hair

These brushes are AMAZING!! I loved the original UNbrush design, but this is even better! Just like the original - it's great at managing my unruly, fine, frizzy, curly hair (while wet - I don't brush it when it's dry, that would be insane). I keep one in the shower for brushing my leave-in conditioner through and this brush slides through with ease, doesn't get gunky, and dries fast, I appreciate that it has a hole at the bottom so I can hang it up - I loop some fishing line through it - regular string can harbor grossness. The bristles are firm but flexible, the handle is easy to grip even when my hands are wet and covered in conditioner, and this new improved version holds up even better than the old version. Apparently I'm a brute and tough on brushes: - the older glitter versions - which brought me much joy - didn't hold up as well as these do to frequent abuse. I recently travelled and forgot that the brushes in my travel bag aren't UNbrushes and I really missed them, the ease of handling, the efficacy against wayward frizz and capricious curls, and how easy they are to clean and dry! I just ordered two more to put in my travel bag so I'm never without them again!

I actually really like this brush, I didn’t have high hopes for it because my hair is super tingly it all the time and just get knotted up so quick. It really does help detangler it. I feel like it could be a little bit stronger though because I do feel like the middle is kind of weak. My hair isn’t super thick, but I have a lot of hair so it makes my head a very full head of hair, which a lot of brushes don’t detangle it like it should. however, I do notice that if I try to brush it and it’s not wet, it will pull it hurts and I can’t get through my hair without pain. I am also very tender headed. I have strawberry blonde hair so it makes my scalp very sensitive, so I do use this detangler that I got at the same time with it which with the two of them as a perfect combination, I usually will spray a bit on my head first just to help start detangling the knots, especially if it’s really tangly if I haven’t really brushed my hair out thoroughly in a few days and then as I’m brushing it out, I re-wet the area. I’m working with to make sure it’s not dry and it seems to help the first time I used it. I just put the detangler all over in it and by the time I got to the other side of the hair, it was already starting to dry and pull. It might work well with water as well. I haven’t really tried that yet so I don’t know how it is with just water, but this combination is perfect for my hair. I would probably buy this again, but I do hope that they figure out a way to make the middle part more sturdy because I don’t know how well it will hold up especially if you have thicker or heavier hair but I do like that. It’s very lightweight and if it’s perfectly in my smaller hands so it makes it nice because I do have arthritis in my wrist so brushing out my hair with my normal hairbrush which is a wooden hairbrush and a lot heavier will hurt my wrist. This didn’t cause any pain or discomfort for my wrist.

Best brush ever! So easy to clean and easy to use! The material is high quality and I think the value of the product is well worth it! My hair pulls way less and the bristles don’t cause breakage in my hair as much! Very satisfied!

I love my unbrush finally I’m not fighting with a brush to get through my hair and clumps of hair on my brush. It works amazing for my hair a lot of less hair on my brush and I can brush my hair in less then 5 minutes. Before it would take me 10 or more minutes to brush my hair. The bristle strength is good trust me I have tuff hair to get through and when brushing the scalp feels like a head massage I love it. It does detangle your hair very well and quickly. This is my go to brush first brush to touch my hair in the morning. I have curly hair and I’m grateful to finally find a brush that works for me for my curly hair. Thank you unbrush for coming out with your curly hair brush it works wonders for me. It a light weight unbrush making it a lot easier to use the unbrush. I love my unbrush!!!!

Wow just Wowww, This Brush is a Miracle for Hair Knots or Severely Matted hair…. I have thick curly long hair and unfortunately for reasons im not going to get into, I let my hair get super matted, and I was just hiding the mess wearing my hair in a bun 24/7…. Well, I finally took time to try to fix the mess I put myself in… I bought 3 different Detangler Brushes: this UNbrush Plus for curly hair, the Tangle Teezeer for curly and the KareCo tangle buster…. The UNbrush plus for curly hair was the clear winner!! It took me about 3hours (with some breaks) and im not joking, almost 2 liters of Virgen Coconut Oil to get my hair as slippery as possible to help the process.. but I did it ! I am Mat free !! Im also happy to report that I didn't loose to much hair throughout the brushing! There was barely any breakage with this brush! Which is another big plus! The brush feels Sturdy in your hands and feels like it will have a long life! So, if you have a Severe hair Mat problem, do yourself a favor and Get this Brush NOW, along with either a detangler product, or a leave-in Conditioner or just plain coconut oil to help with the brushing process! I want to mention that I will Keep the other brushes, they will be a great addition to keep my hair from getting matted again, they seem to work on minor knots, but if the problem is worse than a knot or two then the UNbrush plus is the GOAT. I have coily, low porosity, medium density hair with fine to medium strands. I’ve been a finger detangler my whole natural hair care journey. Recently, it has resulted in 8 hr detangling sessions before each wash day. So I decided to finally try some detangling tools a hair influencer with similar hair to mine recommended. It came as a shock that this one works. In the past, anything with this many bristles would get stuck in my hair and cause pain/breakage. When I add a high slip detangling product, the brush really glides through my hair, after starting from the ends and gradually moving up to the root. Most sections, at least. For others, I found that the denman d38 worked best. This difference seems to be based on how dense the section is, how tight the curls are in that section, and how fine the strands are in that section. When I switch between the two brushes as my hair informs me to, however, my detangling time is shortened so far. I haven’t yet tried this for blow drying, but I did purchase it because it is heat compatible. I also tried the tangle teezer extra gentle but that one seemed to cause more breakage. (See video for comparison of hair left in each brush after detangling a couple sections, following a finger detangle) Although it looks intimidating with all its bristles (coming from only recently using a wide tooth comb sparingly), I do recommend this for type 4 hair, as it certainly seems to be designed for detangling textured hair. I find the price to be reasonable for what it does, and the time I get back through using it. It doesn’t seem to cause much breakage so far. I am really curious to compare it to the regular unbrush. But, for now, I’m pretty satisfied.

I love it so much that I purchased a second one for my daughter! It gives just enough of a good scalp massage, but it isn’t rough or hurting and it does not tear at my hair. I use it several times a week, as I am trying to get back to the old days when our mothers would tell us that the secret to shiny and healthy hair was brushing it. So here I am, trying to do just that - it does not pull or damage my hair or scalp.

UNbrush is the best brush that u have ever used. It is easy to use, easy to detangle, and easy to clean. It is the same size of a normal hairbrush but it is drastically lighter. Love this brush!

Love this Unbrush I can describe it as as a wide tooth comb + paddle brush combined into one. It thoroughly detangles hair without causing any unnecessary breakage. The pink color is so cute and is the only brush that detangles my hair without any pain lol. It’s great, especially because I wear my hair in protective styles so it allows me to detangle my hair in between styles gently without over doing it to the point where my hair is shedding. When searching for a brush, the most important factor was If I would still be retaining length while brushing but with this.. my hair barley sheds and there is no unnecessary breakage that is slowing down my hair retention or growth.

MAGIC! Ok queens listen…. I undid my braids and I was so lazyyyy to do any untangling and I just hopped in the shower and hoped for the best. The best happened and I just can’t believe it.
