It’s was difficult at first….
When first trying to figure out how to transform it, it was difficult for my 5.5 yr old son. The paper instructions are way too complicated, the video helped, but it was more of figuring out how each piece “clicks”. He’s all about dinosaurs, so this wasn’t something he was gonna give up on. I showed him how I transformed it and left it to him, he played with it and carried it everywhere and would transform it little by little, eventually he was able to get it back to a dinosaur in a day. Definitely kept my high energy boy quietly busy for awhile. He’s now able to get it half way transformed back to a car and I help him from there, but I’m confident he’ll get it soon enough on his own. We’ve had it now for a couple of days and he loves it. I’d buy it again for the sale price, it could use some work, but overall my son is one happy boy and that’s all that matters.

Great toy
My 4yr old grandson loves it but his father has to do the transforming. He did not like the paper instructions included with the t rex, found a video online that was more informative. He said it is difficult but he likes the t rex also

Too many steps to transform
My 12 year old gets extremely frustrated trying to transform. He has stopped trying. It's very expensive for just a dinosaur that roars.

Very cool
My son is 11 and loves transformer and dinosaurs. So this was a hit. It wS a little complicated but he used YouTube for a video. Figured it out after about 30 mins. Would recommend.

Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY THIS
My child asked for a dinosaur transformer for Christmas and I was so excited to find that one existed! What a nightmare. The instructions to 'transform' this thing are about 50 steps long and it's borderline impossible to change. It roars / revs the engine when you're not even touching it and it's just a hot mess - not quite a dinosaur, not quite a truck, just a pile of noisy plastic I honestly thought it had to have been a knockoff or something, surely not a real Mattel product. Under no circumstances should you buy this toy.

Great gift!
My five year old saw this on his Jurassic World app and put it in his Christmas list. He told me that it’s even bigger and better than in the video! That never happens.

Complicated for a young kid
Very large for the price!! Which was exciting because everything now days is very small. My nephew is 7 and he loves dinosaurs!! He had a lot of trouble trying to morph it to the jeep. 1: he's impatient and 2: there's a lot of steps. His mom had to do it for him.
