Absolutely the Best
I watched a mini-documentary about a chef who was rice obsessed. He spent years testing rice varieties and cooking techniques to make the perfect rice. I saw this colander in the doc a used google images to find it. It’s incredible. Rinsing rice, lentils, beans etc is soooo much easier with this design. The hole size is probably too big for quinoa and really small grain rice but perfect for everything else. I am super happy with this piece.

Is a gold finish strainer set necessary? Absolutely not. Is it a little over the top? yes. Does it make me happy every time I go to strain my broccoli? 100%! The price is higher than I prefer but I'm thrilled with it. It's very high quality so at the very least I'll get to enjoy bougie veggie prep for a long time.

Great purchase
I was reluctant at first to purchase this because of the price but I use it all the time. I also have run it through the dishwasher many times and the gold color still looks the same. Great kitchen tool.
