The foaming texture is decent and spreads well, so a little product can cover a good area. I also like that it can be used for both face and body, which makes it more versatile. For active breakouts, it does feel like it is targeting the problem more seriously than a basic cleanser. That said, this is definitely not the gentlest product. Since it has 10% benzoyl peroxide, it can feel drying if used too often or left on too long. My skin felt cleaner, but also tighter and drier than I would prefer. Because of that, I would not personally use it every single day on sensitive areas. It feels better suited for occasional or targeted use rather than a daily cleanser for everyone. Another thing to be careful about is that benzoyl peroxide can bleach towels, clothes, or pillowcases if not rinsed properly. I have been using this face wash for over ten years. Every time I try a new one, I regret it. PanOxyl 10% will ALWAYS keep my breakouts at bay, while helping to dry out old pimples. Not great for sensitive skin, but great for oily and combination skin types. Last a long time, too. BEWARE- this will BLEACH your clothing, towels, etc. So always wash your face in a robe or t-shirt you don’t care getting a few bleach spots on.

Saw great reviews about this and decided to purchase. It’s been a week and as someone with sensitive and oily skin this face wash has been refreshing and helpful to use. Skin feels clean and less oily without feeling overdry. Less redness and definitely less acne. There is a competitor that has the 3oz smaller sized bottle for less money but I am happy I got the bigger size since I can use all over on body to cleanse. *In my personal experience it also seems soothing to use on bikini area after wax to help with ingrowns and redness. Looking forward to purchasing Panoxyls other products like exfoliants and moisturizers/serums. Hoping the quality is as amazing as this one! Highly recommend!

The PanOxyl wash is effective and reliable. Cons: I have to be very careful about how often I use the PanOxyl 10% Benzoyl Peroxide Acne Foaming Wash because it can be extremely drying with overuse. The PanOxyl formula is potent and harsh, so I have to follow up my shower with Mediheal toner pads on my back to bring moisture back while my skin is still damp, and I also spray Tower 28 HOCL right after to help counteract the dryness from the PanOxyl. Without this additional moisture support, the PanOxyl would leave my back feeling uncomfortable and compromised.
