UltraPoi - HelixPoi Non-LED Knob Handles Set, Poi Glow Sticks for Flow Arts

Hello! My name is Camden, I’m a poi spinner going on 3 years and I’ve been having a total blast with these Helix Poi! They are very durable and take impacts well due to the soft silicon case, which is great because you don’t want a light that will break or hurt your body during impacts. The poi come with the leash already installed so no setup is required and they also have bonus silicon knob handles instead of the lame old loop handles on most rigs. They are bright, making them super fun to spin and have many modes to choose from so your light show will be amazing! Here are some things I'd like to point out about this product. First thing I like the most about the Helix poi is its value! You get a full set of everything you need to start spinning right out of the included gear bag; glow stick light units, soft cases, leashes, silicone grips, nice ultrapoi sticker and a mode sheet! The mode sheet shows off tons of color modes and patterns that you will love! And all this gear for $60 is a great price! Some of my friends regret buying these cheap ball style poi that only accept costly coin batteries that die quick, and do not offer the brightness or mode selection and break very easily. The Ultralight glow stick that comes with the Helix Poi are amazing by themselves. They have 2 buttons so you can control the top and bottom color modes of the light independently which I found useful. I have played with a few other flow glow sticks and typically I break them in a few months, but the Ultralight shell is beefy and thicker than my other lights, meaning I can spin harder and more confidently. Sometimes when I’m not spinning I will just attach my LED glow stick to my backpack while I’m getting down to some music. The cord is soft and smooth which feels good when it wraps up in your hands, unlike some cords that feel like rope and can burn your arms. One of my favorite features is the knob grip handles, (I normally pay $10 extra to upgrade to these type) this makes it very comfortable for long spinning sessions and can be a game changer for catching tosses. They are weighted nicely so they feel great weather you are a master poi spinner, glow stringer or even if these are your first set of poi! After adjusting the leash to your custom length you will practically never have to deal with them again. Just add a battery and they are ready to play with out of the box. One AAA battery in the Helix poi lasts multiple nights before they start to lose power and you don’t even need a tool to change the battery. What’s great about this is that you can pack some extra batteries before going to music festivals, raves, concerts or camping and then you have power for spinning LEDs the entire time of your event! I must say that after putting in a lot of research for feature rich poi that won’t break the bank, Helix Poi are the best choice. It does not matter if you a beginner or an expert, these poi would be a great addition to a poi spinner’s collection. I would recommend them to any of my performer friends; who have concerns about durability, but once you have the Helix Poi in your hands, you can tell that they are a solid quality product. Turn your lights off and your Helix Poi on to get a flow session in, take them out to any place with music and get your spin on! Very versatile and super fun, I’m sure you will have a great time with them.

The pic is slightly misleading because you only get 2 of the light sticks but I am so in love w these things. Idk if the quality of my vid is crappy because I took it through snap but I am not disappointed. I love that they take AAA batteries because somehow thats easier than the watch batteries, idk why but it just is. Who buys watch batteries ? No one ! But I always have some AAA in the junk drawer. Anyway yeah, $60 was kinda a lot for some poi but its deff worth it imo and also just know it hurts like a mother if you wap yourself with one so prob not for beginners unless you're a masochist then what is stopping you ? I love these. They are mostly well made. I play with them daily and for hours at a time. Been spinning for about a year with poi. My first set were the poi pods and I liked them a bit more. Being able to recharge without worrying about batteries is nice. I just had one of the switches stop working last night and im not sure why or if its something I can fix possibly. I am having a panic issue over sending it in and having to wait for a new one to ship. I do love the colors, brightness and the small handles are better for me than the straps. The value is decent. Especially with a lifetime warranty. I wish i was rich or at expert level so I could try all of the different toys. My life has improved tremendously since I discovered poi! My arms are solid and never looked better. Even when I was a gym nut. Its effortless for me to spin. I've been a dancer all my life. Its the greatest joy I know! Connects me to my body, slows my mind and soothes my soul plus a certain grace flowing through my days. Im so greatful for poi in my life. They are a daily joy and I can't wait to light up the beach at night. People sit on the hotel balconies and watch at night and I get great smiles and compliments the next day. I needed to upgrade from my old poi balls and these don't disappoint. Each poi have two lights inside hard plastic, covered in a soft, rubbery case. The handles are comfy and there is an easy-to-adjust, soft cord that connects the handles to the poi.

I am FREAKING out over how cool these are! They arent very bright, thats the only down side. But they are very small, just a little bigger than a chemical glowstick, which is what I wanted. The silicone (??) sleeves are great, I was spinning these real fast and they collided in air...i was really scared for like a half second, but they didnt even blink! They use a AAA battery and have a buncha flashing AND solid modes. These are a perfect replacement to the cheap coleman LED sticks i was spinning. I just wish they were a little brighter. !!!!!!!!!!EDIT:!!!!! I only just now today had to change the batteries in ONE of the 2 (been a week) and it was WAAAAY brighter. Turns out I must have been using old batteries, these things are ALMOST as bright as a FRESH chemical glowstick. They are VERY bright, thats my fault I put old batteries in mine. You should use BRAND new fresh batteries and these suckers will melt your face!! Why am i still typing?! i gotta get back to spinning these things!! UPGRADED TO 5 STARS!

I love these! However absolutely get the pack with the silicone coverings and string. Friend got just the lights and shattered them pretty dang quick. I actually ended up gifting these to them because they are way better at poi than I am and I got the flow whip. Love the light ootions, easy to adjust, good feel in the hand. Hurts like mad when you wack yourself in the face.

Super nice poi toys. The gel sleeves are softer than another pair i have, so they hurt a bit less if you hit yourself. Love all the different colors and patterns, and that the two sides function independently. Super bright and last a long time on one set of batteries. Would buy again.

Absolute trash and they regret buying this really regret. Amazon doesn't allow me to do a refund. A constantly end up short circuit or whatever because the batteries get loose while you're spinning them, it was a b**** just to try to even get batteries inside these to make them work. How to use tape just to even keep them like centered disappointed

I love them. In darkness they are simply amazing with so many colour options.

Disappointed they are not rechargeable. Promo page/pic indicates they are but another clearly says it’s not. I wouldn’t have bought them if I realized. Silicon case feels like plastic, they talk it up but a very ordinary product.

You have toset the custom colors according tothe advice sheet which is really rubbish and unhelpful. All I want is the rainbow on both to go slowly and trying to figure out how to do that is almost impossible given the advice on the sheet that come with the poi. Also the hand hold is a little small and needs to be adjusted. They don't really sit comfortably in my hands.
