My turtle eats these perfectly fine, however there are occasionally huge chunks
I got these for my adult red-eared slider. I was hesitant at first since I was switching her off of her usual Reptomin or Zoo-Med but to my surprised she ate these pellets up perfectly fine. I don't know if "pellet" is the correct term for this brand of turtle food. The food appears to be more like long chunks, with some chunks being huge, making it really hard to bite and consume. Besides that, these don't seem to dirty up the water any faster than competitor brands, and my turtle eats them perfectly fine. I do notice, however, that these don't stink up the water as much as other brands, especially Repto-Min. Overall, these would get a solid 5 stars if it was all a consistent, easy-to-consume size rather than having such variability in size.

Great turtle food
Great for all aquatic turtles! I feed the aquatic turtles at the lake. I love that this food floats and it softens fairly quickly to allow the smaller turtles to take bites when they can’t take the entire piece. Of course it stinks, every turtle food does! For pets or wild, this food is good for them all.

Water-logged pellets don’t float!
These sticks sink immediately and about half get wasted from the turtle never seeing the food. I should have bought my normal food but thought I’d save some money… no money saved, half of the stix water-log, sink and ultimately go to waste, making my tank more dirty than usual(they claim it won’t)!!! Do your turtle a favor and get it the good stuff or feed as natural as possible.
