Papoutsanis Pure Greek Olive Oil Soap 6 PACK of 8.8 Oz (250g) Bars

I love this soap. It is wholly natural, being made from a 19th century recipe based on olive oil. To the best of my knowledge there are no chemical hardeners, dyes, perfumes, or anything else in this. It has an earthy, natural smell and is gentle on your skin. It doesn't lather much, just enough, but you'll feel clean and refreshed after using it.

I can’t use regular store bought dish soap anymore due to all the additives & allergens normally found in them. I already use olive castille bar soap to clean my body and hair so I figured I could research whether I could use or go clean and do dishes as well. Turns out you can. These bars are very well-cured & hard so they last a while without melting into a blob even if I’m not hyper vigilant on keeping them dry. Works great for washing dishes & hands. It smells earthy & just like fresh olives to me. The bars are an olive green color naturally which means this is made from really good quality likely virgin olive oil. It is incredibly inexpensive in comparison to what I was paying before ($13 for a Mamasuds dish bar) & these bars are HUGE. 8 oz each. I will keep these in rotation. Very grateful I found these at such a great price!

Love this soap! Extra large bar is long-lasting, and the price is terrific for 8.8 oz compared to other soaps. Being olive oil based leaves skin moisturized even in winter months. We've been using only this soap for a few years now...highly recommend!

I used to use Korres bar olive oil soap for my face but I cannot find it anywhere now. I searched for something comparable and found this Greek olive oil soap. So glad I decided to buy it as it is just as good as the Korres bar soap. I still use Korres olive oil bath gel and their other oils but I wanted an olive oil bar soap just for my face. This bar soap is awesome. Lathers up so easily, cleanses well, and is very moisturizing. And 6 bars, too! Fantastic deal. I never want to be without this soap.

This soap is a wonderful, gentle cleanser that is perfect for face and body. I have extremely sensitive skin and many allergies and this is the only soap I use. I will be forever grateful to this company for making such a high-quality fragrance-free soap with so few ingredients, they have saved me from needing to make my own soap.If you are struggling to find a soap that will not make your skin break out in hives, try this soap, it is amazing!

I have used this soap for years. I have also written several other reviews. This soap is fantastic when made right, gentle, non-irritating and fragrance free. I went through several batches that smelled strongly of ashes. Still used them up as I did not end up smelling like ashes. Now my latest purchase has a fragrance. I cannot use anything that has any hint of fragrance, so the entire order of six bars has to be tossed. The smell doesn't even smell good! Smells like some old stinky, dirty shirt that has leftover cologne on it. I don't think I can ever buy this again with the uncertainty of what I will get. I am so disappointed!! I would give zero stars if I could.Addendum 2/17/21: after about a year, I took a chance on ordering this soap again. I am happy to say that it is almost completely back to normal with just a faint hint of smokiness. This I can live with versus the horrible smell that it had last year at about this time when I last ordered. The six bars of soap each came in nice little box so some changes have been made by the company. I am so happy - I missed this soap so much!!

I LOVE this soap! Been using it off and on for years and it's perfect. I chose it because of the all natural simple ingredients and good value, but I have stuck with it because of its mild pleasant scent (not too sweet, not too musky), it being moisturizing without being oily my acne prone skin loves it), the fact that it doesn't disintegrate too fast, and it being easy to grip.That said, I would prefer it if the bars weren't so huge. I cut mine in half widthwise, leaving a sort of cube shape that fills your hand, but it shreds a bit when I do that, causing some waste, and the shape is still not ideal because it's too tall. When I try splitting it across the side, it completely falls apart.Overall, I believe it is a great product and hope they keep making it forever!

I have used olive oil soap forever and this brand has always been good quality and priced. If you get the big bars don't drop them on your toe...
