Murphy's Naturals Citronella Mosquito Repellent Candles, 9 oz (Pack of 1)

Works wonderfully. I burn them in home to keep flies and mosquitoes out and it is very effective. Smells nice too. Doesn’t aggravate my pets. Will be buying more…. many more.

Finally! A mosquito repelling candle that gets the job done and smells good doing it! The blend of lemongrass, rosemary, citronella and other essential oils smells great, not at all overpowering like other mosquito repellent candles I have tried. The candle has a slow, steady, uniform burn. I’ll be ordering more when these run out! I just wish they made a bigger version!

Chose these because they do contain oils that claim to deter pesky mosquitoes- rosemary, peppermint, citronella, lemongrass and cedarwood oils…which by the way also can deter ticks. The smell while burning seems more citronella like, even though this wasn’t the highest concentrated ingredient, but it wasn’t overbearing…hence my claim of whether it really works. Based on my past with these candles, they may work in a small diameter where you burn them, but they don’t reach under the picnic table where your ankles still are mosquito bait. It did burn nicely with no excessive black smoke, but I also watched the wick size while burning. It says to only burn about a 3 hour span of time, which is probably just ironically how long a day I had it lit. I would buy it again, as it was a set of two and price was fair.

Great candle for patio. Seems to work well keeping mosquitos away. I have purchased seven of these this summer. Tin can with a lid is easy to put out. Candle is not too strong, but yet the fragrance smells great!

Murphy’s Naturals.. We just used one the other evening seems to work well. The smell isn’t overwhelming like some products we have used in the past. I will update my review in a few weeks.

Pleasant and Acceptable odor but has not seemed to protect porch from Mosquitoes.

Murphy’s Natural’s fsmell much better than the typical citronella candles which can have a chemical type smell as they burn. Murphy’s candles are very effective at repelling mosquitoes with a light natural scent. I love them!

These candles work well and the smell is much more muted (and nicer) than most citronella candles. I lit both candles and could tell within 10 mins that they were working. I cannot sit on my patio without being bitten within the first few minutes of being outside and I have not been bitten yet. Will be reordering and highly recommend.

Very effective once I opened it all mosquitoes disappeared it’s like magic I liked it a lot, no smell at all and very strong on these small dangerous creatures

Perfect repellent mosquitoes candles I spread them all over the place for our gathering outside and it served everyone so well no mosquitoes at all great product
