This case is exactly what I was looking for: Ultra thin - minimal bulk added, but enough of a lip on the front and near the camera that I feel comfortable placing it on flat surfaces No fingerprints - it's sort of a "matte" black so fingerprints don't show Button response - the grooves fit and make the buttons (power and volume) easy to feel. No issues trying to push any of the buttons Cut-outs - everything is centered and nothing is blocked It could stand to have a little more grip to it, but I'm careful with my phone so not a huge factor to me, but I realize can be an issue for others. I'll update for durability as time passes (so far 2 weeks in, no issues)

Amazing case, I love it! I think that right now is the best case out there for my Pixel 2 XL. I am using as my daily driver and it keeps my phone well protected and, at the same time, it doesn't hide the beautiful phone design at all. I will try to sumarize my hot points with this case. Pros: - It is not bulky, it is thin. It allows to keep the beautiful phone design - No figerprint magnet, easy to clean after all - It has just the proctection in case of dropping - It covers slighly the camera lens - It covers fingerprint sensor - You can feel the curve edge of the screen with this case. Cons: - It doesn't offer a lip in the front in case you want to put your phone upside down. But it is not a deal breaker for me so this gives a more beatiful touch to the screen so you can reach the curve of the screen to swipe to left or right from the edge. - Depends of the dropping your screen edge are not well protected I recommend it 100%!

I am really liking this case so far. I have come to enjoy the sleek non-bulky cases while sacrificing some assurance that if I drop my phone from a distance it may not be as protected as with other options. When the Peel case came out for the Pixel 2 I immediately ordered and my initial impression was it felt cheap. Once on the phone it felt really nice but cracked and broke apart with minor drops. For $25 it didn't feel like a rational investment. I started thinking if they could make a thin case made of a more flexible material instead of rigid Peel case that it would be a great balance. The X-Level hits that sweet spot for me. It's the thinnest case I have owned second to the Peel. I still think if you are looking for drop protection this won't provide a significant amount. But for everyday bumps and scratches your phone is more than covered. Also, unlike the Peel there is a slight lip around the screen, not ridiculously protrusive and not so small it's useless. It fits very well and cutouts are exact. I'm not quites sure the material or finish on this thing but it is matte with a powdered look and pretty dang soft, almost slippery. That slight slippery feel is the reason for the one star drop. Overall, glad I invested in this, I use a PET screen protector full adhesive because... Well, tmepred glass sucks now days. It works well with the screen protector I have.

Case is fantastic due to it's fit. Retains a relatively thin profile with some moderately "toughened" corners. Case is some sort of matte rubber TPU feeling. Feels pleasant to hold in the hand. Provides some grip Pro's: all around scratch/bump protection matte feeling (anti grease) click buttons thin profile (minimal) Slight thickness to even out the camera bump cutouts precise extremely precise fit (no gaps for dust) simple looking inexpensive Cons: very little lip for the actual front (I doubt the phone would be able to take a drop to the face) May need a screen protector for display if you drop Please see photos. Case is actually darker than pictured due to flash Overall, a pleasure to use! love the case so far. best alternative to a naked phone

I previously had the ultra-slim, skin-like MNML case, which is the thinnest case you can get, but it offers absolutely no impact protection. The MNML case (and others like it) works well for about 2 months of use (taking the phone in and out of from my pants pocket multiple times daily), but it eventually wears out by "stretching" or "bending" so that it becomes loose fitting. After replacing the MNML case (twice), I finally grew tired of spending money on a new case every 2 months and decided to try this x-level case. No complaints from me so far...the x-level case is not as thin as the MNML but it's about as thin as you can get and still have impact protection. I do concur with other reviewers that the camera and fingerprint sensor cutouts are (very slightly) offset, but this doesn't impact either the camera or the fingerprint sensor in any way, so it's not an issue for me. I really like the matte finish and feel of this case. The extra thickness compared to the MNML is definitely worth it for the extra impact protection you get, but even with that, it is still a very thin case. So far so good; I will update this review if I notice any excessive wear or flaking off of the finish as noted by some of the other reviewers

It would get five stars if I didn't get it in poor condition! The case is brilliant, lightweight and thin. The edge of the case doesn't cover enough to protect your phone, so if you drop your phone on it's face, the screen would hit the floor before the case did. The color is more Rose Gold than Gold, as you can tell in the picture of the case, which is super pretty. My only problem was that I got the case dirty and scratched. The edge of the case has scratches on it, almost as if the case was used already and the back is dirty.

I have wrestled with about 10+ different cases now from Caseology, Spigen, Off Brands, etc. I was trying to find the perfect minimal case that offered me ample protection from daily wear and tear from pocket sand and other things like keys and coins that could potentially scuff up the phone. MNML felt flimsy, like a thick construction paper. Spigen has so many options but the one that I love from them is not available for Pixel 2 XL, the Liquid Air. I was looking for a case that aside from ample protection from casual wear and tear --- also felt soft and nice to the touch versus rough and sharp. Suffice to say, a lot of cases feel sharp and rough around the port cut out and as I hold my phone with my pinky finger as a shelf it usually begins to just dig into my finger. So the material is essential. As soon as I took this case out and it felt like baby powder on my skin I knew, I had a winner. Slightly thicker than a MNML case this thing is a snug fit and will wrap around the phone so snug. Camera cut out separates the flash and sensor so it's not a big opening. Overall, it feels good, is soft and provides enough protection --- possibly even from small drops. One small con? No front lip on the Pixel 2 XL. Although the curvature of the screen and how it pops up makes this a bit difficult for any case without bulk to have a lip. But its just as easy to not put the phone face down.

I want a phone case that is small, thin and unobtrusive, like many bulky phone cases. I understand that I will sacrifice some protection, but that is worth it to me. I carry my phone in my front pants pocket, like an normal person (unlike those who still wear a belt clip.....pager days anyone?) and I don't want it sticking out a half inch because of the case. What is the point of having super thin new phone, then adding a safe around it. I have had this Pixel 2 XL case for a couple months. I have dropped the phone on the concrete out of my F150 truck, on the corner of the phone and it did not break or crack the screen. That's about all the protection that I'm looking for. As a side note, why phone designers are still making phones with curved edge screens is beyond me. The novelty of the curve has worn off, it's good for nothing, except breaking your screen easier.

Very pleased with this phone case. I previously used an extremely thin case and was worried this would feel a bit too thick in comparison but it's nice and slim and doesn't add much bulk to the phone and doesn't obscure the use of side swiping. The feeling of the material is a velvety kind of smooth with a bit of grip and the Winered colour is very nice. Great for minimalist case lovers. If I were to nitpick over small things, the cutout surrounding the charging port is very straight cut so if your hand/fingers rest there while holding the phone it can be a bit irritating/uncomfortable, would be better if it were a smoother edge. Also the cutouts around the fingerprint sensor and camera lens are just slightly off centre, but not enough to bother me.

El material es de goma, cortes perfecto. Lo cubre totalmente, se siente buena sujeción. NO AÑADE MUCHO VOLUMEN Si no te gustan los protectores este es ideal.
