The Doodle Brush Slicker Dog Brush Curly Coat Detangler, Extra Long Pin

This brush was recommended to my by my dog groomer. I have 2 cavapoos and even though they were being brushed up to twice daily their coats had still developed some matt's by the time they went back to the groomers 8/10 weeks later (especially the 8 month old) because of their fur type & clearly the cheap brush I was using was not fully getting through the surface!. She advised I invested in one of these as she had tried many different different brushes over the years & found it was the best for these types of dogs. I was sceptical at first as it seemed so expensive for a dog brush!!. However I decided it may be worth the investment as it could hopefully reduce the length of time between grooming appointments, especially at £90 a time!. Well having now used it for the last week I can honestly say it works a treat. The dogs seem to love being brushed by it too, even my 13 yr old dog who's normally quite sensitive to some brushes which is a definite positive. I also purchased the comb which was on offer at the time and it's great to finish off with and make sure I've got all areas. So far we are completely knot free and I would recommend taking the plunge and buying one if your dog has doodle type fur. Time will obviously tell over the next 8 weeks when they're due back at the groomers to see if she notices any difference, but so far I'm very pleased with the results & more importantly the dogs are happy

I do not write reviews but need to say if you have a doodle you need this brush! I have several slicker brushes and thought they were all pretty standard but now we have a doodle live with us, I realise they are not! Most just skim over the knots or snag onto them. This brush has changed everything and I cannot describe how quickly and gently I was able to brush through my standard Australian Labradoodle! We were both so much happier with the experience and the time we gained! I was able to glide the comb through after one brush and I know clipping will be so much easier for us now with this piece of magic! Although Po-dog is big I have still ordered the small flexible brush as well for armpits and around his delicate bits. A huge thank you to DoodleBrush! 💞

This brush is a game changer. I’ve struggled with grooming my Sheepadoodle since getting her 18 months ago. She has had to be shaved multiple times due to matting even with trying 3 different brushes. Other brushes were uncomfortable, took an extensive amount of time and multiple sessions and was uncomfortable for my pup. This one arrived an hour ago and within 20 minutes she was smooth all over and didn’t mind being groomed at all. The brush is easy to hold and very sturdy. My dogs hair has been so resistant to other brushes but this one glided through without any issues and got out all tatted bits so quickly and easily. It’s 100% worth the money after months of struggling to keep her coat untangled. Couldn’t speak more highly of it. Please consider getting it if your dogs coat sounds similar. It’ll stop having to get them shaved down.

I’ve been using this slicker brush on my dog for a few weeks now, and overall I’m really happy with it. The extra-long pins make a noticeable difference, especially when brushing through thicker or slightly matted fur. It gets deep into the coat and removes loose hair without too much effort. The brush feels lightweight and easy to hold, which is great during longer grooming sessions. I’ve also noticed less shedding around the house since using it regularly, and my dog’s coat looks much smoother and fluffier after each use. One thing to keep in mind is that the bristles are quite firm, so you need to use a gentle hand—especially if your dog has sensitive skin. It might not be the best option for very short-haired breeds, but for medium to long coats, it works really well.

This brush for my cockapoo its just the best, she was quite matted so I put the detangle spray on and the brush just glided through her coat no problem. I have a another bush that does the same thing but it’s no were near as good as this one, it doesn’t pull either and Peanut is quite happy with letting me groom her, and I can clip her without cutting out any matts first

Great brush. Big improvement on shorter one with plastic tips. Goes through thick Cockapoo fur much more easily and through under fur. Definitely the go to brush from now on.

Whilst It does reach further into the fur than my previous slicker, I hadn’t realised when I bought this that there are 2 more different brushes that they say are best used together. I’ll see how this one stands up to brushing regularly first but it is definitely a useful brush.

Je ne mets jamais d'avis sur Amazon mais ici ça en vaut le coup! J'ai acheté la brosse en fonction des avis des gens et j'ai bien fait ! Elle est incroyable ! Suis passée d'un brossage de 1h30 à 45 min avec mon spitz-loup! De plus il ne supporte jamais que je lui brosse les pattes et le ventre et là pour la première fois il ne m'a rien dit... ! Suis assez choquée....!!! Le sous poil est bien parti en plus ! Je recommande +++ malgré le prix ! 🤩 en plus la grosse est garantie à vie 😊
