I'm actually finishing the entire TUB of this protein powder!
I couldn't wait to try this since I'm attempting to not eat animal protein (of any kind) any longer. I tried this with just water (as I always do with protein powders) and it had a slight chocolate taste which was ok. I then "doctored" it by adding low-cal cashew milk, honey (just a bit, to sweeten) and about a half-a-table spoon of peanut butter and then it became amazing and smooth and flavorful. Perhaps some reading this would say that it "defeats the purpose" of adding calories through honey and fat through peanut butter but our bodies do need "good fats." Regardless, this is the FIRST product that has not bothered my stomach, tastes great (with the recipe I came up with) and that I have almost finished the entire TUB of product for. I think my body just reacted well to this product and, as an added bonus, I don't feel hungry (or crave sweets, as I used to) since beginning use of this product. Now, at almost six foot tall, I feel like I'm able to provide my body with the protein it needs, without guilt!

Love the ingredients
My nutritionist recommends this protein, because of the ingredients that are very clean, and easy to digest, Ive been taking this protein for 1 year as an additional help to hit my protein goals.

great tasting, affordable vegan protein powder
I really enjoy this protein powder. I don't drink whey because I often have a bad reaction to it (my stomach doesn't like it) and so I am left picking from vegan options. I like this protein powder because it has a good flavor - sort of like chickpeas and chocolate. OK it's not an ice cream sundae, but I'm drinking this for the protein, not as a treat. It's a little grainy but that really doesn't bother me. I will continue to buy it when the price is low, because for the price it's an excellent protein shake. Not sure if this is a complete protein though.

Pretty solid proteins source
Are use this in smoothies. It blends really nicely and has a benign vanilla flavor. Is it the best thing I have ever tasted? No. But it certainly isn’t offensive. I’ve had problems in the past with certain types of protein, causing stomach upset and this does not. if you’re looking for a vegetable-based protein and wants something with a touch of vanilla flavor, this blends very nicely and is not chalky at all.

Bien, no me provoca acné, la de chocolate tiene mejor sabor que otras también de chocolate, la de vainilla es difícil de tomar solo con agua.

A plant based protein powder that I like
I have issues with whey based powders and I went on the hunt for a vegetarian protein powder. I use it for fruit based breakfast smoothies with some form of fake-milk, bananas and other fruit. I don't notice the grittiness in that mix and the vanilla flavor works just find - no off taste. I also like that it doesn't make the shake too thick -- I tried some soy powder for a while and my shake was like sludge. I do occasionally throw a half-scoop into a bowl of cereal and fake milk. The flavor is fine, but the grittiness is definitely evident. That being said, I still add it, so it's not too bad in my opinion. It is definitely a better experience if I shake it with the fake milk before adding to the cereal, but a lot of times I'm too lazy to do that. It wasn't anymore gritty than brown rice protein powder. From the nutritional end, I do like that this is a blend of different plant proteins instead of a single plant protein. Update 9/4: I opened a new container and it went from 4 stars to 1 My first About Time Vegan Vanilla was bought from a local retailer and that was what my initial review was based on. The most recent batch I received is a newer lot and it tastes terrible. The color, consistency, smell and taste are all off. I called About Time and complained. I was told that this product underwent a reformulation where the ratios of the different protein powders were changed. For the record, the last lot that I liked was Z714, exp 1115 - the new lot that I didn't like was Lot Y035, exp 0416. Maybe I'll try the local retailer again and see if they have any more of the old lot. I had bought these new containers in advance and now have missed my opportunity for returning them. For the record, Oxkam had a month long return window, which is very reasonable. I do not recommend this product any longer.

Mixed review
The fence is still out on this one. It’s not too bad. However, when added to overnight oats for protein after a day or so it starts to taste semi medicinal. I think it could be the coconut oil powder or one of the other additives. I do like that 30 servings come in a bag. The other protein I like only comes in 20 serving bags, which goes way too fast! I find this to be fairly blendable when compared to other vegan proteins.
