Organic Valerian Root Tea (4oz.) - Te De Valeriana - Sleep, Stress Response

I like it because it helps me to fall asleep 😴 but the taste and the smell are awful. Sometimes you need to enjoy an awful smell and taste as long as it helps with sleep. My concern is that I read online that it is not good idea to use it for long time but I am not sure if this is correct. Hopefully someone would tell me.

My favorite brand for Valerian root, I wish it came in a larger size. Started buying somewhere else because I go through it so quickly, but I think this brand may help my sleep more. I steep about 2-3 tsp for 10min each night to help me drift off to sleep, works like a charm.

This tea helps relax before going to bed. The smell is intense, but it has to be, an acquired taste. Overall does what it is supposed to. Previously it came as loose tea, so I used steeping spoons. This time it came as individual paper packets, much easier to use. Steep for 10 min in boiling hot water, then drink and sleep better..

Valerian tea has a strong smell and its flavour is not bad, the important thing is that it fulfils its benefit, relaxes and sleeps better. I highly recommend this tea.

I got this Organic Valerian Root Tea as a sleep aid. I've been using it for about a week now and it does seem to work well. I'm falling asleep easier and staying asleep longer. My only complaint is the smell. It smells like compost. My wife is not that generous in her assessment of the smell and uses words best not put in print. The taste is not great but better than the smell. One could add sweetener of some sort but I'm pre-diabetic so that's not a good option for me. I'll keep using it because it does work well but get yourself a smell-proof jar of some sort.

maybe my old giant bag of valerian root that I have been using for a years has diminished in flavor/aroma, but this new bag has a very pleasant flavor and smell. I know some people don't like the taste/small of valerian root, but I always have. I tried a small bag of this brand to see if I liked it, I will definitely buy this brand again, I like it better than what I had before.

Was very disappointed with the quality of this product. Definitely didn’t smell like valerian and looked like dirt. I tried tincturing some and it just looks like muddy water. I have gotten other things from this company that were good so I wasnt expecting this.

Valerian root loose leaf My cat went crazy for this valerian and kept trying to rip into the bag, which honestly made me laugh. Other than that, no complaints. After a few days of drinking the tea, I started sleeping much more deeply.
