AIRVOICE Aviation Headset for Pilots Instructor, Flight School Student Pink

Quick Take: I bought this AIRVOICE headset for my daughter to use when she flies with me, primarily because she wanted a pink headset. 😂 After using it myself and comparing it directly with my $1,300 Lightspeed Delta Zulu, I was genuinely surprised by how well this inexpensive headset performs. Obviously, these are completely different categories of headset, and the Delta Zulu has far more features and premium noise cancellation. But for under $100, this AIRVOICE does a really good job with the basics: the microphone sounds good, passive noise reduction is solid, and communication in the cockpit was clear. Pros: Excellent value for the price Surprisingly good microphone Good passive noise reduction Clear cockpit communication Pink color looks fantastic, especially with the chrome and black trim Comes with a carrying bag Lightweight and easy to use Great option for a student pilot, passenger, occasional flyer or backup headset Much less expensive than premium aviation headsets Cons: This is a passive headset, so don't expect the active noise cancellation or features of a $1,000+ ANR headset Basic compared with premium headsets You're obviously giving up features and refinement to get the much lower price My Verdict: 5 stars for value. I have a $1,300 Lightspeed Delta Zulu, so I wasn't expecting much when I first tried this headset. After actually using it, though, I was impressed. My first aviation headset was a David Clark passive headset, and based on my experience, I'd put this AIRVOICE in roughly the same general category for basic performance. That's not me saying this $100 headset is equivalent to a $1,300 premium ANR headset—it absolutely isn't. You're not buying it for all the advanced features. You're buying it because you want a functional aviation headset that communicates clearly, reduces cockpit noise reasonably well, and doesn't cost hundreds or thousands of dollars. For a student pilot, passenger, occasional flyer or second/backup headset, I think that's a pretty compelling combination. And if you're buying one for someone who doesn't want the standard black aviation headset, the pink is seriously cute. My daughter LOVES hers. It looks pretty bougie while doing the job. 😉

I got these for when I’m passenger princess in my boyfriend’s Piper Aircraft and honestly they work great! I’ve already used them multiple times and the sound quality is really good for the price. The noise cancellation definitely helps during flights and they’re also super cute. My only small complaint is that I wish they were a little more comfortable for longer wear, but for shorter flights they do the job perfectly. Overall I’m really happy with them and would definitely recommend them for casual flying or passengers!

Save your money! Bought this to take my GF up in a Cessna for the first time. Wanted her to have her our cute headset. This one is perfect for family or friends that fly with you often enough to need their own headset. They’re much more comfortable than my ASA,s are. (I replaced the cups on my ASA to feel more like these actually) the noise canceling is good. They sounds great to the person wearing them and they sound clear to the pilot. I’d say these are good quality. I would recommend these if you’re a student pilot, fly with someone optionally, or just need a cheap headset. Save your money. You don’t need a $2,000 Bose especially as your first. And the fact you get a carry case is a big plus!

They’re actually BETTER than my David Clarks and a third of the price. Nice soft material around the ears, and better noise cancellation.

Great headset with terrific sound quality. We use them for sxs'ing and they work fantastic.

Only one nob on the entire set and of course nothing came out of the left side! Not very safe when you get in the cockpit and can't communicate with your partner or hear ATC.
