Perfect light source for indoor plants
I purchased the SANSI 250W equivalent LED grow light for my indoor fruit trees, especially during the winter when I move them away from the window to avoid cold drafts. These lights have worked perfectly for that setup. They provide great coverage, and I ended up purchasing several so all of my trees could get enough light. Since using them, my plants have been able to maintain healthy growth indoors. One thing to be aware of is that the bulbs are surprisingly heavy. Youโll want to make sure youโre using a sturdy lamp or fixture that can support the weight and wonโt tip over. Overall, these are powerful and effective grow lights, and I would definitely recommend them for indoor plants, especially if you need a reliable light source during colder months.

Great Grow Bulbs
Fantastic so far. Powerful bulbs and we will see how they last. Stay cool and no flickering so far.

No flicker, Quality driver. I disassembled it so you don't have to.
The light has no visible flicker if you are sensitive to that. The driver is a quality constant current model and is even conformal coated - enhancing the water resistance factor. The LED chips are mounted to a ceramic disc which in turn is attached to an aluminum disc that is press fit against the outside casing - also aluminum. This cools the LEDs reasonably well but the driver is left uncooled which is unfortunately common. I decided to remedy this and was able to disassemble the bulb by prying the plastic lens cover off and then prying the aluminum disc out. The driver was then exposed though it could not be removed without desoldering the 120v leads. I replaced the driver's RS1 2 ohm sense resistor with a 2.2 ohm, dropping the wattage down to ~18 watts. It runs very cool now and should last longer.

Fantastic light
Thus works exactly as expected as a grow light. My plants love it and they can't get enough!! The base gets warm/hot, not searing, you can the bulb off in a pinch from the head.

Ideal for supplmenting light
I bought this light to supplement natural light for my potted citrus trees in the winter. They go outside once it warms up in the spring but they get so sad in the winter. I bought a basic lamp fixture from the Color Cord Company plus a timer so it comes on and goes off automatically. It's working great and I don't feel any heat coming from the lamp. I will experiment with lowering or raising it once I see how the plants are responding to it. I have more citrus trees arriving in the spring so I might add a second light to extend the canopy. Overall, super happy with this light!

Twice with same defect
Bought as Christmas present. It is nice and bright, but unfortunately the first unit began rapidly flashing off/on after several hours of operation (less than a day). Exchanged through Amazon for a replacement. Second unit began exact same flashing issue, but after about only 30 minutes of operation. Have now returned for a refund. Did swap to a different socket, but same thing happened. The bulb is suspended in free air in a room that is about 68F. It should also be noted that the first unit had a date code in 2024 and the second had a date code in 2025. Given all the good reviews, I am perplexed by getting 2 units with the exact same issue but from different lot date codes. This might just be simple coincidence, but it also may be related a design and/or manufacturing issue to be avoided.

Great light just not too stong
It was not powerful enough for my tropical plants. I had to get a different light from sansi. This was my first time buying one so i had not learned yet. Always look at what the ppfd(the amount photons(light) that is landing on the plant) is for how far away you have your plants from the light. Sansi is great because they show the ppfd at 1ft 2ft distance. I have tropical plants so they need much higher ppfd then some house plants. But I love this company and all my lights are by them. This just wasn't the right bulb for my situation.

Do Not Question It. Do not anger it.
Just buy it. Trust the process. But whatever you do, do not look directly at it.

Great light
Wide spread and not to intense. Great for anthuriums or ferns to give energy without scorching them.

It's bright
I use the LED Grow light to supplement sunlight when the plants go under a covered patio on rainy days. I don't use the light at night it would annoy the neighbors, it's bright!

It is perfect to meet my needs
For most grow lights, their blue light and red light ratio is about 1:3, while this SANSI 250W equivalent LED bulbโs blue/red ratio is as high as about 1:2, it provides a full spectrum with a significant proportion of blue wavelengths. Blue lights (400-500nm) are essential for regulating plant growth by suppressing stem extension, resulting in shorter, thicker, sturdy plants; while red lights (635-700nm) are essential for photosynthesis, flowering and fruiting. Most of my plants are non-flowering slow grow succulents. My key points are keeping my plants compact with minimum stretching. This grow light bulb with blue-heavy spectrum is perfect to meet my needs.

It's ok. I like my multi-clip-ons better.
Good for one med-size plant. Place about 10-12" away from top of plant. I actually purchased this to replace 2 blurples for a small seedling station. Didn't seem to work as well as my 2 blurps did last yr. Maybe I will use one of each instead next Feb, March. It's now about my smaller (12") teneke with 3 stems in the 10" pot. Teneke growing new leaves well.
