Perfect size and doesn’t stick

Very pleased – a clear improvement on our older Circulon pans
We are very pleased with these Circulon Scratch Defence 22cm and 25cm frying pans. The deep grooves and thick non-stick coating seem much better than on our older Circulon pans, which are about 6 years old. These feel more substantial and so far have performed very well. Even after heavy use, the inside of the pans still looks excellent, which is exactly what you want from a good non-stick pan. The handles are comfortable to hold, feel secure, and it is useful that they are oven safe as well. They are also easy to clean, although we only hand wash ours. The only slight downside is that the stainless steel sides and base can discolour a bit if food gets baked on, but that is really more of a cosmetic issue than a performance problem. Overall, these have been an excellent buy and feel like a definite step up from our previous pans

Fantastic pan of very good quality - robust and ideal for smaller portions. Would be a useful addition to anyone's kitchen equipment.

Handles too hot to touch.
I would expect that paying this sort of price for a pan you would get a really good design. Instead I find a pan which is not well balanced, much too heavy to lift with one hand but the small handle opposite gets roasting hot, as does the handle on the lid. Having burnt myself several times when I have had to move it quickly and not had time to get a pot holder, I am now having to consider replacing it. Very disappointing.

The Best frying pan and size to have for most of your needs.
This is the best little frying pan. It cooks to perfection. Heats up and nothing sticks, Its heavy duty and well made. I have fried wontons in it, sauted vegetables and fried chicken. I am now going to purchase the larger ones to go with this.

Fake 10 inch
This inch drops completely inside my other 10 inch pans without even touching the sides. I guess it’s great for a 9.5 inch pan, but they lied.

Truly works on induction/super easy to clean
I have great hopes for this 5-quart saute pan, and so far it's an excellent choice. The stainless steel exterior is attractive, and it works great on our induction stovetop. This pan is obviously on the pricier side. And although I tend to be a value-minded shopper, I got tired of buying saute pans that warped and whose non-stick surfaces wore out after a year and a half. The build quality of this pan suggests that won't happen this time; if it does, I'll return here and adjust my rating. One of our key requirements is that the pan has to work on induction, and this one does; the stainless steel cladding gave me confidence that the heat induction would spread across the entire bottom of the pan. (Beware some other brands that say they're induction compatible but barely meet the lowest standard in this area, including some high-end options.) The non-stick surface is super easy to clean (and we put it to the test!); if it lasts half as long as the stated "130X longer", I'll be delighted.

Well constructed, but poorly designed.
I'm an experienced home cook who has owned and cared for multiple nonstick pans over the years. I went into this purchase with my eyes open, did my research, and treated these pans with textbook care: hand-washed only with soft cloth and dish soap, silicone utensils exclusively, no overheating, never stacked, never put in a dishwasher. I did everything right. After about 3 or 4 months of normal use, these pans were performing worse than my traditional uncoated cast iron pan. The problems are design-level, not wear-related. The coating is thick and intact; there is no peeling, and no visible damage. The issue is that the nonstick surface itself has an "orange peel" texture that grips food rather than releasing it. Combined with Circulon's signature concentric ring pattern, which traps food in the grooves and makes cleaning difficult without risking coating damage, you end up with a pan that is both harder to clean and sticks more aggressively than cast iron. The rings are marketed as a protective feature. In practice, they're a liability. Food finds the valleys, and once it's there, you cannot remove it safely. Cleaning it gently leaves traces of food which stick to future meals. Cleaning it more aggressively can damage the coating. There is no happy middle. The handles are also worth flagging, particularly for anyone with arthritis, muscle weakness, or hand pain. The round, smooth cross-section provides no rotational resistance. When tipping or pouring, the pan wants to rotate back to level, forcing you to grip far harder than should be necessary. A D-shaped or flattened handle would solve this entirely. For someone with limited grip strength, this isn't merely a minor annoyance. It can actually present a safety concern. I wanted to like these pans. The construction feels solid, and the nonstick coating is thick. The construction all around feels high quality. I understand what Circulon was going for. But the surface design is fundamentally at odds with what nonstick cookware is supposed to do, and the handle design penalizes anyone who can't compensate with brute grip strength. I can't recommend them. Photos show texture, and food trapped between ridges after a light cleaning (from a fried egg which didn't properly release from the pan)

Nothing Sticks to It (And That’s the Problem!)
Cooking with a Circulon pan is definitely a learning process! I find the pan’s ridged cooking surface has so much surface tension that butter simply beads up and doesn’t spread evenly when melting. Also the ridges make it difficult to cut meat and vegetables cleanly with a spatula when sautéing.
