I'm not a huge fan of cheesecloth, and did some research before making yogurt - which I needed to strain to make it Greek. Although I have some cheesecloth, it would have taken 10+ layers to keep all the yogurt from falling through. Someone on the web suggested flour sack towels - and these met the need perfectly. Just a single layer of towel in the bottom of my strainer was all that was needed. Nice size which let me fold the corners over the cover the top of the yogurt with the same towel. There was a ring of dried yogurt on them when done, but a regular wash with hot water and it was perfect again. We're not using these as hand towels, but rather for anything where food needs to be touched. We use 2 together to wrap oven warmed bread, or tortillas. My mother needed something to keep cooked pudding from forming a skin and I suggested one of these. It worked perfectly. If something happens to these I would definitely buy another set, and I would definitely recommend them for all of the above purposes. I can't think of a single negative thing to say about them.

I use them for covering any dough that I’m working with, like English muffins, pita bread, tortillas, hamburger buns, etc. They are soft, breathable and no loose fibers! I love these that I bought 2 sets and I plan to eventually embroider them. I did cut one to cover my 3 Gallon Kombucha Mason Jar and it’s been a perfect covering cloth!

Stitching and size is consistent and neat. No loose threads. Perfect for bread making. Not hefty enough for scrubbing. Perhaps polishing glass and flatware. For dishes, it takes at least four to dry everything after cleanup.

I would buy these every day if I could afford them. They do stain, because they’re cotton linen blend. But they work great!

I never write product reviews. And writing one for something as mundane as a set of dish towels is certainly something I never expected to do. But these towels have pleased me greatly. So many things are of such diminished quality these days, it's delightful to purchase something that, however ordinary, is made with care, fulfills its purpose, is pleasant to use and won't harm you or the planet. These towels are large, substantial, absorbent, appear to be very durable and made entirely of natural, sustainable, non-toxic material. Plus, they're very attractive to boot! Okay, I did it. I wrote an ode to a dish towel.

Love the neat and detailed workmanship of these dish towels; straight seams on all four sides and no untrimmed strings hanging all over. I wish the clothes we buy were as well made as these dish towels! It's also a very helpful touch for them to add the hanging loop in one corner for hang drying after use. There's nothing better than a flour sack dishtowel for drying dishes, and wrapping produce (like romaine lettuce or celery) in a damp towel to keep them fresh and crisp. I appreciate the organic cotton, and the fact that they are made in India - would rather purchase from India than China. They were folded and packaged neatly. Didn't expect that for something as simple as a flour sack dish towel! The only problem was there were only 9 towels in my package instead of the 10 as described. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars - the quality is that good.

These organic cotton kitchen towels are durable and absorbent. I love that they are made of organic cotton. I wish more things were made from organic cotton. I not only use them to dry dishes, but I also use them to cover dough when they are proofing on the working surface. They are large enough and wide enough to cover many biscuits or burger buns while they need to rest. Very handy for the kitchen.

The towels were very sturdy and useful in many ways. Though the size for me is quite big for table napkins purpose but it was a classy product.
