Definitely NOT a lemon!
Well-made drum, instantly recognized by the Pearl Mimic Pro. After tightening the heads it was extremely responsive and playable. This is my third Lemon tom, and I have an 18" 3-zone ride that has been performing perfectly for the last nearly two years. Great Stuff!

Good value for the hobby drummer, not great if you're a pro
OK. So this is cheap but well made electronic tom. It works fine with the Roland TD50X. I took off one star because when I plugged it in, it only triggered the rim sound and rarely the drum sound itself. To fix it, I had to remove the top head and was happy to see that the piazzo is connected to the jack with connectors that can be easily taken in and out. The sensitivity isn't as Roland's but with the price difference - it makes sense. Overall, if you're a hobby drummer and need an extra tom - consider this one.

2 weeks in - great!
Been using this for consistently for 2 weeks now and it feels great, it's got a great feel for an electronic pad while still mainting a solid acoustic frame. Really quiet too, so good for neighbors!

Solid addition to my kit
Works great right out of the box with my donner kit that had a slot for a 4th tom. Doesn't come with its own cable or mounting clamp so you need to buy those separately if it's an addition instead of a replacement but it's nicely responsive and looks good with my kit.

It's actually sparkle black, and it's an excellent drum...
Bought a tom and it's amazing. I'm using it as my snare atm, and the responsiveness and feel is PERFECT. It's totally worth the price for what you get.
