I purchased the Yoto Mini (2024 Edition) with the Make Your Own Card as a gift for my granddaughter, and it has been an absolute hit. She absolutely loves this mini version, and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. I bought the Yoto Mini so my daughter could have something to listen to instead of using a phone, and it’s been such a great decision. She’s only 1, but she already loves music and just listening to different sounds and stories, and this is perfect for that. It arrived in great condition and was packaged really well. The sound quality honestly surprised me—it gets pretty loud while still being clear, which is great when she’s playing or moving around. It’s super easy to use, durable, and just a really nice way to introduce independent listening without screens. Definitely happy with this purchase and would recommend! The value for the money was well worth, battery life lasts a few days, the size is perfect for travel and has been very durable considering we’ve dropped it a couple with a protective case. It hasn’t changed anything. Super customizable online once you get a hang of it. You can also add/change icons!

We have LOVED having a Yoto! Our public library has cards you can check out, too. Our 5 year old uses this during quiet time to listen to audiobooks and he loves it. We also love that it can do white noise, bedtime instrumental music, and other music we have dance parties to. It's easy to use and I love that there's an app you can use to control volume limits, set timers, etc. It's cute, small, and user friendly for me and my kids.

Our kid loves the Yoto and uses it at home and for travel. The headphone jack works great, the size was perfect for tiny toddler hands even at 1 year old. The radio station with Jake is a favorite for the family. Sometimes there's a delay with our WiFi for the radio stations but once it starts it's fine. The buttons have all worked beautifully even after hours of our toddler obsessively pushing them in rapid succession to watch the little icons change. It's been dropped and has never broken. This is truly one of my favorite kid purchases. It gives your kid so much independence to consume the content they want without bright screens in their face and the content provided by Yoto is top notch. We have stories, music, meditations, and the Daniel Tiger stories card is our kids absolute favorite. The app gives you tons of customization options and makes your changes immediately. I just can't say enough good things.

Ok, so I just have to say, this is probably one of the greatest things we have ever gotten as parents to a 2 year old. I tell my husband, if we ever have another baby, I'll only ask people for more cloth diapers, and one more yoto mini. Lol Seriously. I wanted to initially reduce TV time, which this does significantly. You don't need to be super crazy tech savvy. But some tips, it is hard for me to upload audio through the app, so either on my phone or tablet I need to use the web browser to upload audio to the playlists. The audio just takes forever or crashes or stops uploading often through the app itself. Getting audio content is easy. The only yoto cards you need are the Make Your Own cards. Those will grow with your child forever as you can change the content whenever you want instead of buying specific cards you can't write over. I also print stickers of the songs or story covers, cut and paste to the MYO cards so my toddler can easily identify them and choose what she wants to listen to. At first I thought the yoto mini player would be too hard for her to understand and use, but it literally took her 2 days and she was listening to whatever she wanted, learning to raise and lower the volume etc. Kids are so smart. You can download audio from books, from YouTube, from all kinds of websites like the Internet Archive, and it's just never ending you have so many options. Our daughter is bilingual, so even if it is a painstaking process, I put in order her songs and audios to have the same episode in Spanish, followed by English sharing the same custom icon, all throughout her entire custom made playlists. It can take a while to make them exactly how you like, but it is so worth seeing how happy and bright they get. She can look for the icon on the little screen to find a certain song or story she wants, and she knows the first one is always Spanish and second is English. My husband is also amazed at the Yoto and how versatile they are. She even has Bible stories, biblical scriptures, a card where I read books in both languages, Bluey songs and episodes, Super Simple in eng/spa, etc. We're just so pleased. Thanks Yoto! She takes it everywhere: to the store, in the car, on walks, everywhere. I can see her as a teenager one day with her custom content changing with her as she grows.

We adore the Yoto! So many amazing things can be done on these devices, the battery lasts a really long time! We have to big Yoto player but wanted something more portable for in the car and this is perfect! I love that the cards stay in and don’t be knocked off like other players and I can also control from my phone which means I can always have the stories or songs we want even if we forget or misplace the cards. I think the retro look is simple and cute as well. My toddler has accident dropped this a few times already and it still works perfectly. A little pricey, but I think it’s worth it

Lettore MP3 per bambini stupendo. Facile e intuitivo da usare. Mia figlia di quasi 5 anni lo ha usato da subito in autonomia senza che avessi il tempo di spiegarle come funziona. Arriva con una scheda vuota che potete riempire di vostri contenuti audio ( musica, audiolibri, vostre letture ad alta voce). È giusto un poco complicato da settare inizialmente in quanto non è in italiano ma basta cercare online e si trovano tutorial rendendolo semplice. Necessita di connessione o wifi di casa o hotspot per scaricare i contenuti salvati sul vostro account yoto e poi collegati alle card ma questo solo la prima volta che si carica il nuovo contenuto, dopodiché funziona senza connessione anche se si cambia scheda. Prezzo un pochino caro ma in linea con i lettori sullo stesso genere. Bellissimo il fatto di poter ascoltare da altoparlante o tramite cuffie bluetooth o cuffie con cavo aux, nonché la possibilità di regolare il volume anche attraverso l' app per lo smartphone.

I bought this for my 5 year old son for Christmas & it’s already a lovely staple of our day. It’s such a cool design, with great audio, cute little pictures to accompany each story & easy usability for his little hands. He chooses his story card, puts it in & changes the volume. And it settles him & his big brother (8) to sleep really quickly! It also has a lot of content (daily kids podcasts, millions of other podcasts, yoto kids radio & other playlists that you can listen to via the parent controlled yoto app) that you can listen to aswell, for free! We especially love the make your own cards, it’s such a sweet feature- my Dad who lives far away has made a playlist of stories, so my kids can have their grandad read them a bedtime story as often as they like. I would highly recommend, for kids aged 3-10!

These are so fantastic. My daughter was just over 4 when she got hers and it is such a go-to item for her now. It is particularly helpful for extra bedtime stories, or just gentle lullabies when having trouble getting back to sleep. The nighttime settings that allow volume limits and sleep/awake times are so cool. She knows it's morning when the sun shows on the screen. Just all round a lovely product. Great for car trips too!
