Great craftsmanship. I was very impressed by this compass and its quality build. It has a nice weight to it and is made of a dense material that feels high quality. The compass itself functions well.As a gift, it is a very impressive piece. The quote was a huge hit with the recipient and it will be a great keepsake for years to come. I however was not a big fan of the leather pouch and chose not to include it with the compass when gifted. The pouch itself is a nice leather, but I do not like the brand name embossed into the leather as I think it takes away from the clean, high quality of the entire package.I highly recommend!

This was a gift for a co-worker who is retiring after 42 years. I was looking for something that was artistic, functional, with quality material and appropriate for someone entering a new phase in life. The size was perfect and it works wonderful. I had to make a box to present and store it, which added a personnel touch. When my son graduates from college, I plan to likewise gift him with a Neovivid compass. There was also a small sand-timer on a keychain included that could be attached to the compass - it was perfect.
