Let me start off by saying what made me buy this Theragun. I've had back pain ever since I was 18 yrs old. I had fallen and injured my back. Jump ahead several years ahead I've had acupuncture, chiropractor's , pain medicine, purple mattress, adjustable bed, cheaper massage guns, and a massage chairs, and everything that you can thing of some items helped with some pain but sooner or later id be back to square one inpain. My pain interfered with my daily routines but a few weeks ago I was visiting my son out of state and had went to Andretti indoor Karting and games and got blasted from behind by this lady and it Jared my back later that evening I could barley walk. I got in his massage chair (same as mine back home) helped a little but not enough. Then my son said try this he gave me the Theragun mini with the standard tip. After jamming it into my back until the battery wore out I did it again the next day and OMG .... I had never felt better in my entire life. My back felt incredible I was able to sleep better with zero pain,stand tall, bend over everything felt amazing. So after leaving I knew I had to get me one just incase I had an episode. So even though I liked the mini holding it was kinda rough. So I purchased the Theragun Therabody prime 5th generation and using the thumb tip for deeper soothing omg feels amazing. I highly recommend this product to anyone who has had similar issues. The handle makes it so much easier for you to administer self treatments and dig i to the pain. I will say I used my son's on level 3 when I was there, now that I have mine and it goes up to level 5 I will say as of yet I have not needed it that intense yet. I feel amazing. I also want to say start out on the lowest setting until you can withstand the pain I have a high tolerance and a high drive to feel better so I did what I needed to do to feel better. Thank you Theragun for inventing this amazing product it gets a 10 out of 10 from me.

The TheraGun Therabody Prime Plus Heated Massage Gun is awesome! It comes with multiple interchangeable attachments, which makes it great for targeting different muscle groups. The heat setting is a standout feature — it really speeds up recovery and loosens tight muscles fast. Overall, powerful, well-built, and totally worth it for anyone serious about recovery.

I compared this to the Theragun Relief and the Rod & Todd or whatever it's called D5. The Relief was well built for the price, but didn't pack a whallop. The D5 had good power, but the build quality wasn't as high and it made a racket as I applied pressure and moves it to different positions. The Theragun Prime is considerably more expensive than either of those. And it shows. The head on this gun hits the muscle with serious conviction. Even the lowest setting can do some real work. This thing can tackle the big muscles -- quads, hams, adductors, glutes, calves -- without breaking a sweat. I use it for a few minutes as soon as I get up to get the body moving, and again later in the day to loosen everything up. It's built like a brick, no rattles, and syncs easily to the app where you can follow along with various routines. Only complaint is they should have included the thumb head, which they include with the much less expensive Relief model. Overall, a really solid piece of equipment that does what it says.

One of the best purchases I have made!

Works great. Easily helps provide relief to neck and back muscles. The design of the handles does allow you to get some parts of your neck, and some of the back - but probably not as easily as the marketing may lead you to believe. For most instances you will need someone to drive it into back areas that are especially troublesome. You need a nearly “straight in” angle for some parts of your back that cannot be easily physically performed by yourself, otherwise the drive shaft will start slipping and you don’t get a smooth percussive motion. Other than that caveat, it certainly does provide relief and helps to ‘reset’ those tense muscles and encourages freedom of movement. The included massage heads are ample for most use cases - niche or not - and I’m happy overall with the purchase while it was on sale.

I wanted one for a while but the price tag was a bit too far for me but now I am on a HSA plan and I was almost maxed out so I took the plunge and let me just say I wish I had a long time ago. I had a cheaper, knockoff brand one that basically just vibrated and it did okay but never seemed to help more than for a few minutes after use. This thing is a beast, it thumps like no other and is easily adjustable speed wise and the heat option works very well. It comes with a bunch of different attachment heads that hit every spot right. My girlfriend has an ongoing hip issue and she said it hurts every day but after using this she went days without pain. I can't explain how but that thing just works. Going to buy the cooling head attachment to go with it too to complete the set. If you were on the fence about these get down off of it and go buy it!

The theragun prime is a fine product except it failed after 2 months it would not take a charge, I requested an RMA with the company and i thought things were going great until I opened the product and they sent me a refurbished previous version. Now I have to send it back again to try to get the right one. I paid a premium for a good brand not to have these kind of issues.

This massage gun works well and helps with sore muscles. It has different speed settings and a strong build. The battery lasts a long time, and it’s easy to use. One thing I love and hate is the weight of the massage gun, as it has enough weight needed for your muscles, but it can also be tiring to hold for extended use (But that depends on how long you're using it for) The only thing I would change if I could go back in time is to getting the version that lets you adjust the massage head for more flexibility. Overall, it’s a solid option for muscle relief

Reviews of the G4 mentioned that it was too noisy - i.e. couldn't watch TV while using it. This G5 is quiet enough to allow me to watch TV while using it. It is easy to use, and easy to sync with the app - which is useful when working on particular issues.
