I know a lot of people buy this to check in on their pets but we didn’t buy this for pets at all—our intention from the start was to use it as a way for our son to stay connected to home. We got it right before Christmas, around the time our 18-year-old left for Air Force tech school. After basic, he was really feeling homesick, and this has honestly been such a meaningful way for him to reconnect. He has the app on his phone, and whenever he needs it, he logs in and “walks” through the house. He’ll roll into his dad’s office, talk with his siblings, and just be part of everyday life again for a little while. It’s been both comforting for him and really special for us. The quality has exceeded expectations. The audio is clear and loud, and the video is sharp and detailed. Movement is smooth and responsive, and while it can move quickly, you can easily adjust the speed in the app. It’s lightweight but feels sturdy. If it bumps into something and tips over, it’s easy to set back upright and keeps going without any problems. I’ve only experienced lag once, and that was due to my own internet issues. The app shows your connection status, which is helpful. Even when ours was listed as “fair,” as you can see in the video I took it still performed well. There are also some fun features like sounds and motion options. Our son likes to randomly play things like cat meows or wolf howls, which has become his way of letting us know he’s logged in. As for pets, we have two and one was curious while the other wanted nothing to do with it. But I can absolutely see how it would work well for checking in on animals. For our family, though, this has been so much more than I expected. It’s given our son a way to come home, even when he’s far away. Sometimes just a few minutes of roaming and talking is all he needs to feel better. This is a purchase I will never regret. And I would honestly recommend it to everyone! I looked at several and was very nervous that the quality wouldn’t be great. But it is, and this sturdy little thing has been a blessing for us.

I LOVE it. I got it because I work so much and feel like I never get to spend anytime with my fur babies. I just wanted a way to be able to still feel involved in my household and I must say this is one of my best purchases. Helps me wrangle my huskies up if they're up to no good with excellent video quality and sound. Some of the built in sounds do not sound as describe but the wolf howl is my favorite. My bowls love to howl. The battery lasted 2 and a half days with me checking in Intermittently throughout the day and night. Obviously with more frequent/constant use the battery will die much quicker. This is the best value for my money. Its durable, easy functionality, and a buy you wont regret. Ive ranted about this so much 2 of my coworkers bought it the same week. Just do it!

I use this to check up on my cats when I'm at work! I've been using it for a few months and I've had no issues. Charging is easy and I think my cats love watching it move around

This has been so much fun for our family! I take him all over the house and he maneuvers over different floors, transitions, and rugs very easily. He has bumped into a few things and even flipped over once or twice, but easily adjusted and kept going. One time the belt slipped off, but it was easy to put back on. The sound and movement features are super cute so make sure to try them out. The picture quality/pixels are really good. Our cats absolutely love it, which makes it even more entertaining. It was a little difficult to have additional family members download the app and use so there was some frustration so we will need to put the time into it to seeing if there is an easier way to do so. It is on the pricey side, but since it was a Christmas gift, I was more willing to splurge.

I got this to keep an eye on my pets and house when I’m not right there, and it’s been way more useful than I expected. The camera quality is clear, the app is pretty easy to figure out, and being able to drive it around instead of being stuck with one fixed angle is actually super helpful. It handles small bumps and floor transitions fine and doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy. If you want a tiny roaming camera to check on your pets or just see what’s going on at home, this is a fun and practical little bot.

I bought this to use with my long distance boyfriend, and it has been such a fun way to stay connected. The 2K camera quality is excellent, and the night vision works surprisingly well. Not just for pets, i got this for the wife as she travels for work and with this robot she can roam around the home while away and talk to the kids and me , the camera quality is great, 2 way audio is loud and clear and you have the option to make it louder on the app , the little robot is fast too and easy to learn to control , we have hardwood floors and it is able to run very quickly around our home, it has several custom animal sounds pre recorded that it can make to get a pets attention, my dog didnt care for it, but would be nice of you could record your own custom sounds to it, maybe one day if enabot ever thinks about it. Overall this is a great buy to keep and eye on the home when you are away aswell. The app to control the robot was easy to set up and very user friendly. Jusy one request Enabot, give us a way to record our own custom sounds on the app. Edit , we love this little bot I got a second one because one a year later of the wheels stopped working due to my kids dropping it. Wish we could buy spare parts for it, at least the detachable part with the battery that holds the wheels, I ended up fixing it eventually on my own. Now I got 2 of them.

I used this pet camera robot for my cat and ended up returning it, but I still think it’s a very fun and clever product for the right situation. The best part is how interactive it is. You can control it from your phone, set different movement routes (like spinning in circles or moving in a snake pattern), and it even has different sounds to get your pet’s attention. My cat was very curious about it, and when it gets knocked over, it can stand itself back up, which is perfect for playful or naughty cats. The video quality is very clear, and the sound is also surprisingly good. You can hear and talk through the app clearly, so it feels like you’re really there with your pet. It’s also a nice option if you want to check in on someone at home, like a partner who is home alone, and say hi or make sure everything is okay. For me personally, I realized that when I’m at home, I don’t really need it, so it wasn’t worth keeping. However, if you travel or are away from home a lot (for example, when I’m back in my home country and want to check on my place and my cat in Canada), this device becomes much more valuable. Overall, it’s a fun, well-designed pet robot, but it makes the most sense if you often need to monitor and interact with your pet remotely.

I honestly wasn’t sure if I needed a robot camera, but after seeing what ROLA could do, I decided to give it a try—and I’m so glad I did. My 2-year-old Chihuahua, Skylar, is usually home alone while I’m at work. She’s a pretty laid-back pup and sleeps most of the day, but as any dog parent knows, you still worry about them and wonder what they’re up to when you’re away. I also wanted to find a way to encourage her to move around a little more on the days she’s not at daycare. Before using ROLA while I was away, I spent some time introducing it to Skylar at home so she could get comfortable with it. I didn’t want her to be scared of a little robot suddenly rolling around the house! After a few days, she got used to it, and now they peacefully coexist. One of my favorite things to do is open the app during my workday and drive ROLA around the house. Sometimes I’ll have it follow Skylar, and it’s so funny watching her react. When ROLA starts moving, she usually gets up to investigate, follows it around, or simply becomes more active than she otherwise would have been. It’s such a fun and interactive way to check in on her instead of just watching a stationary camera. Beyond the entertainment, it gives me so much peace of mind knowing I can see how she’s doing whenever I’m away for several hours. Being able to virtually “drop in” and interact with her makes the workday feel a little shorter—for both of us. If you’re a pet parent who spends long hours away from home, I’d absolutely recommend ROLA. It’s become one of my favorite pet gadgets—not because it’s flashy, but because it genuinely helps me stay connected with Skylar while giving her a little extra enrichment throughout the day.

I hummed and hawed over buying this for over 6months mainly due to concerns over the mixed reviews. Finally bought during Black Friday and am very happy with the bot. We have a mini golden doodle in the house and a daughter that lives on the opposite side of the planet in Australia. We bought this to play with our dog and to have another medium to stay connected to our daughter. It’s like she can visit us and move around the house and play with the dog as well. Positives Easy to download app and share with others. Other users can access ROLA bot seemlessly and doesn’t require you to accept “the call”. You can also easily toggle off the sharing feature when you need privacy. Obviously you only want to give access to close family members or trusted friends. We used double sided tape to attach a little basket to put treats on top of the ROLA and trained our dog to accept and play with the bot. He quickly went from fearing it to now treating it as part of the family. Battery life is more than sufficient for our needs. We roll it around and play with our dog once a day for about 15min and it will last a week on a full charge. The 2k camera is very good to watch on your phone and not grainy. Definitely no complaints there. The 2 way voice is very good and more than acceptable. In the future - I hope a newer version of the bot incorporates a screen where you are basically FaceTime with the user.
