They allowed me to pack a wider variety of clothes and keep them reasonably wrinkle free. When I got to my destination, everything was still in its place and not jostled around. It was also a nice way to easily find what I was looking for as undergarments, socks and makeup were all neatly packed in their own cases. I was surprised at the amount of items these bags allowed me to pack. When I got home I threw them in the washer and they came out intact and ready for another trip.
