Please don't buy this!!!
This is the most common mistake beginners make when buying matcha—and unfortunately, I made it here. Despite being marketed as “ceremonial/elite,” this matcha is extremely pale, flat, and lifeless. The colour is dull yellow-green, and the flavour is weak to the point of being almost nonexistent, especially in milk.I’ve had basic culinary and so-called premium grade matcha with noticeably better colour, aroma, and taste than this. That alone says everything. At this price point, this level of quality is completely unjustifiable. What makes it worse is that the product images on Amazon show a vibrant, deep green matcha, which is nothing like what you actually receive. The difference is not subtle—it’s glaring. This is not ceremonial grade by any realistic standard. Extremely disappointing purchase and feels like daylight robbery for the price.

Product is Ok but Can is Rusty.
The product is good. The taste is a bit flat, but that makes it beginner-friendly and won’t overwhelm you if you’re used to premium brands. The major issue is the packaging. They’re selling this product in a rusty can, and they haven’t mentioned anywhere that you’re supposed to store the matcha directly in the can after opening it. Storing matcha in a rusty can is definitely not ideal. If you want to buy it, go for the packet version instead of the can.

Okay. First things first. Your Matcha tastes great. Has the that umami taste.
Your Matcha tastes great. So much better than the previous brand I tasted. Came with a cute spoon but the packaging in terms of the lid of the container wasnt that great. I can't tell you how many times I have saved the container from falling specially with the lid so loose. The lid of Matcha's container should be vaccum shut so that when stored in the fridge it stays fresh for the longest time. Today for the first time it fell. I have been meaning to put this in the review since a very long time but kept putting it off since the lid issue didn't seem so important but finally put that in a review today. These are small but very important suggestions you guys should keep in mind. Hope your teams actually reads the reviews.

Pure Matcha Bliss – Smooth, Fresh, and Energizing!
I was genuinely impressed by the Tencha Ceremonial Elite Grade Matcha. The vibrant green color and fine powder are a clear sign of its quality. When whisked, it creates a beautiful froth and the aroma is fresh and grassy. The taste is smooth, slightly sweet, and not at all bitter—just what I look for in a high-grade matcha. It gives me a clean, focused energy boost without the jitters, making it perfect for my morning ritual or an afternoon pick-me-up. If you appreciate authentic Japanese matcha, this one is a real treat.

DEFINITELY NOT JAPAN "ELITE"
I'm quite dissatisfied in this one to be honest. This doesn't taste like a real, good quality matcha. The color isn't that bright green but rather like grayish light green color. It's quite weird since I've tried their classic version before and it's somehow better. This doesn't have any of that fresh-grassy-umami aroma and taste. I don't really think this is planted nor harvested from Japan. I also bought their elite hojicha and now I'm worried that even that won't really taste like a real hojicha.

In Love with this Matcha
I’m new to Matcha world but this is already my number one. The matcha microfoam is beautiful and creamy and the vibrant green tones are top notch ! It also doesnt leave a powdery feel in the mouth and its supper smooth. Loving it !

Great taste. My wife loves it.

Not worth the price
The quality of this matcha has definitely changed in the past months/year. When I first started buying it, it has a great color and a great taste, now it seems like a very low quality matcha. I thought my last pack was a one-time issue and gave it another shot but I won't be buying it again.
