Working well
My Denon receiver has an issue with passing through the signal from my AppleTV that the TV monitor uses to set the resolution. I use this to split the signal, one to the receiver for audio and one goes directly to the TV monitor so that the display runs the Dolby Vision.

So useful.
Showing the same channel on a half dozen TV's in your bar or pub? Have a conference hall and need to get the image of the speaker seen by more people in the back? Doing a trade show and need to do a "video wall" where all the screens show the same image? Or at least the ones hooked to this? All these things and more are what you can do with this delightful little 8k 8x splitter. It's built like a tank, and while I don't have any 8k sources to test, I do have 4k sources, which worked just fine. I have no doubt 8k will work fine as well. *PRO TIP* Do note that if you have problems at higher resolutions, try better HDMI cables. In most areas of AV, high-end cables are snake oil. But for HDMI, when you start pushing higher resolutions, huge amounts of data starts to flow over those cables and weak cables will show their ugly faces. A cable upgrade may just fix any issues you may be having. Overall, I really like this 8k 8x splitter, it works great and is pretty darn useful. 5 stars.

Garbage.
Pretty useless. I have an HDMI 2.1 switch setup that is connected to an HDMI 2.0 splitter. With it, I can get 4k@60 on the connected computer. When I swapped out the HDMI 2.1 splitter with this one, I am only getting 1080p@60 using the default setting. The 4k@60 setting gets no signal at all. I tried all the possible EDID settings and only 1 worked and it was 1080p @ 60. It is so frustrating since this is the second Orei product I have bought and it too was terrible. Edit: I tested more with just this one and my HDMI 2.1 Samsung TV with HDMI 2.1 cables. 1. I am unable to get 4k@60 with this regardless of EDID setting 2. Most EDID settings do not work 3. When I connect my Switch 2, it usually outputs as 4k but the thing downsamples it to 1080p, even though TV supports it 4. I tested it with my 1080p 240hz TV monitor and HDR->SDR did not work. It did not convert at all. It was still terrible looking but at least it downscaled to 1080p.

Quality HDMI splitter from OREI
OREI makes a wide range of A/V products. I've used quite a few of their devices with great results. This is a 1 X 8 HDMI splitter which lets you take one HDMI input source and mirror it to up to eight output displays. That's really all there is to it and this splitter supports a bunch of different input sources (see product description). I've used it with Xbox, PS5, Roku and projectors. It also supports many resolutions which is great if you're trying to send the signal to different sizes/models of displays. I use this professionally for trade shows--my company makes a promo video and we output it to a number of monitors throughout our space. Works great, reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

High grade equipment
Very good splitter with a nice variety of options that it supports. I needed a splitter to output Xbox HDMI to multiple screens, and ran across this. Its kinda the equivilent of needing to move a hutch, so you get a semi. Overkill. But I figured that if I had this overkill unit then I wouldn't be needing to upgrade it in a year or two if my needs changed. Or, more likely my needs expanded to fit the system I could support. It just works. I'm not a videophile, dont need to worry about the up/downscaling aspect, etc. just want a good splitter thats bullet and future proof. Suspect I've found it here. I do agree that usually "professional grade" cables are snake oil, but finding ones that are good RF shielded is usually the same as "pro" and if you have a lot of stray RF or other electrical noise, its worth upgrading if your video quality seems wonky.

Simple design, great quality, good picture
Simple design, great quality, good picture: This product is very straightforward to use - the single input and multi-output design is very simple since you don't have to set a matrix of inputs and can just wire together the source / monitors with HDMI cables. The product is well made and feels physically durable while handling, which can be important when running so many cables through the unit. The picture quality is also pretty great and so far has lived up to the 8K claims, with no noticeable difference between the outputs in terms of picture quality. The vented, metallic shell is also a pretty good heatsink that helps prevent the unit from overheating as long as it's in a relatively cool, open space. Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend.
