Good Enough
Overall: Solid crossbar that will hold a bag or whatever attachment. Obviously, better ones exist but this one will do the trick for more mild weather conditions. If you are in freezing conditions I expect that water will get in the cover and freeze it. Although, I am not sure why anyone would need to take it off at that point anyway. That said, works great for us. Good: 1. Price 2. Easy to install 3. Rubber on clamps 4. Plenty of room for sunroof 5. Doesn't make too much noise Bad: 1. Poor instructions (but there are youtube videos) 2. Didn't have hex key (fallen wrench) needed for install 3. Can't go all the way back on the rails but goes far enough 4. The clamp covers aren't a perfect fit 5. The lock cover needs a gasket or something to make it fit tighter. Water will definitely get in there if it's raining. I don't think that it will negatively affect anything in the short term but it might make some parts rust in the long term.

Not the easiest to install properly but a great bang for your bucks
After carefully reading every review on this product, I decided to still buy it, because it is the best rated set of cross bars for Kia Sorento (2020-2024), knowing I might have a hard time getting the covers in place and lock them, but convinced that, once installed, those bars would not fly off the roof... And I was right, I am glad I bought them. The n#1 criteria for me was the safety and sturdiness of the bars: it's out of question that our box, with all our skis in it, should fly off on the highway. Result: We're just back from a trip from NJ to Canada and back, and the bars haven't moved a quarter-inch, they are solidly fixed to the rails, and the roof box to them. We can open the sunroof. I have to admit : it took me 15 min to assemble them, it's not complicated (remember: the shorter bar goes at the back, the longer bar to the front) but the instructions are not the best. Now on to the tough part : once the bars are fixed and super tighten to the rails, it is a bit of a struggle to push and affix the covers and lock them in place. The trick is to give a good push right underneath the key hole with one hand, and turn the key while you're pushing. If you lack the strength, you could use a clamp, but make sure the strength point is applied right below the key hole. Once all covers are locked, the lock caps, although plastic made, won't move either, you just have to insert the bottom first, then push the top until you hear a 'click'. Even if you're not handy - like me, really not a smart guy when it comes to handiness - this shouldn't take you more than 45 min from opening the Snailfly box to opening a beer to congratulate yourself on a job well done.

Good roof racks for the price.
These roof racks are surprisingly easy to install and the clamps seem to hold onto the roof rails strongly. The clamps are also coated in rubber so they do not scratch the painted rails. The locks and plastic covers on the outside are fairly cheap feeling, time will tell how long they last. The size is perfect for our 2021 XC40, they fit perfectly. Cross bars are sturdy, hardware is good quality, bolts attaching crossbars on the outside are stainless steel. No wind noise up to 75 mph highway speeds in the position that I mounted them. Overall, for the price, they are a good purchase.

Great Product, Great Company Support
Purchased the Snailfly Upgraded Roof Rack Cross Bars for my 2020 Kia Telluride SX. They were easy to install and look great. I have used them to carry multiple items through all kinds of conditions both in the US and multiple trips to Canada. They have performed flawlessly. After several years of ownership, one of the lock covers came loose and blew off while driving down the highway. I reached out to Snailfly to inquire about purchasing a replacement, since it was well beyond any warranty. I was pleasantly surprised when Snailfly decided to send me not one, but TWO, covers completely free of charge! What a great company.

Does NOT fit Kia Telluride as stated
Beware - This does NOT fit a 2023 Kia Telluride as the description says. I'm unfortunately beyond the return window for Amazon and there is no way to get this to stay on. The "C" shaped clamp that goes over my rail just pops right off. It's not deep enough. It is shallow and flat, while my rack is deeper and more rounded. When it's tightened down, you can just pull it up/off with your hand. No amount of tightening will get it to stay. :-( What a bummer. I advise smarter people to try it on right when you get it. And don't buy it for a 2023 Telly.

Good Quality, Feels Strong
Arrived on time and packaged well. Heavy duty and well made, dimensions fit perfectly for our vehicle (2024 Kia Telluride). Still able to use sunroof. Instructions are, eh, OK I guess but itโs pretty easy to figure out even without em. Pop the outside cover, unlock it, slide plastic piece off, loosen bottom screws, attach to rails, tighten screws, slide plastic piece back over it, lock it, snap cover back on outside. Done. Drove a quarter of the way across the country with a loaded down large roof carrier, and the rails did not shift at all. Would recommend. (Zoomed in photos are just to give you a better idea of how they fit. Oh yeah, make sure you have flush rails for these and not raised.)

Sturdy with Okay Build Quality. Good Value Choice. Good Customer Service
It took a couple of days, but I finally got the covers to fit... Okay, here's the TLDR version: They look good, almost like OEM, and very sturdy compared to others that I have tried and did not work. Fit and finish are a 6.5 out of 10. Covers require some manipulation, it's not just about using a torque wrench... I had to put some pressure on the plastic just below the lock to get the locks to engage... CAUTION: With the torque wrench set at 50LBS as the directions said, it stripped out the screwheads... Looks and performance: The fit and finish are not perfect, but good enough. They pass the 10ft and 3 ft tests. They look very similar to the OEM parts, and the connection to the rail is very sturdy. They seal off well on the top, and I looked for the clamps to have hooks on both sides to catch the contours on the rails which these do. Some of the "universal" cross bars have a flat side and no matter how much you tighten them, you can pull them off by hand. I gave these a thorough testing and I am confident they will do well. Installation and Instructions: The instructions are not great... but if you are intuitive they are pretty easy to install. The biggest challenge I had was determining the location of the bars. After doing some research, I placed them over/near the door seams. - Make sure they are at least 30 inches apart. - The distance from the top of the windshield is important for reducing wind noise, other the front door seam did pretty well for me. Tightening these was also a bit of a mystery. I hand-tightened them with the Allen Key that was provided, and even at that, they seemed pretty sturdy. However, the instructions call for a torque wrench set at ~50lbs. I was never able to actually tighten them down to the point where the torque wrench released. I ended up stopping out all of the screwheads (if this happens, you can use some channel-lock of vise grip pliers and get the screws off. The screws are M6 x 100 35mm) We went out for a drive and got up to 65 mph and didn't have any noticeable wind noise. As I mentioned above, the position/distance from the top of the windshield will be key to minimizing the noise.

Solid cross bar. No issues with install. Seems solid.
All in all, I was pretty skeptical to see how solid it could attach. Pretty happy overall. Haven't used it a ton, but seems as solid as the others I've used on other vehicles that were bolted to the top. VEHICLE: 2021 KIA TELLURIDE EX V6 (no sport trim or anything) Just gotta pay attention to which is the longer bracket and which is shorter. The little cover caps detach from the TOP side. It isn't very clear, and I tried pulling it from the bottom (wedging a flathead screwdriver between the panel at the bottom). So, flathead screwdriver between the TOP middle is the way to go. There was enough adjustment in the brackets for sure for what I need it for. I'd say to set it up: 1. Put screws in for the bars and the attachments loose enough (not too loose though as it will be annoying to tighten them a lot after the bar is installed on the roof). 2. Loosen the clasps on the arms a great deal to make it a lot easier to attach. Go ahead and attach one arm fully to the vehicle and tighten it down, then match up the other side to mirror the length down the SUV's rail. Tighten the front one first. 3. Then proceed to install the back rail the same way. Make sure if you have a specific carrier in mind, this would be your best time to place out how far apart you'd want the rails before you tighten them all up. All in all, with the little screwdriver key that you get, nothing you can't do without other tools. Taking the key cover plate just needs a vehicle key or something if you didn't have a screwdriver on hand. Seems sturdy. Looks nice enough. The only improvement that I could see is that if there were a loop on either front or back bars so that you could attach a strap or rope direct to the mount, rather than having to loop a strap around and tightening it another way. That was something I kind of forgot I liked about my other roof carrier cross bars.
