THE GOOD: After trying this Mifasol humidifier for a week, I'm very happy!! The reason I purchased it was because I owned a high output dual transducer humidifier before (was very happy with its performance) but the internal water pump on that design failed and I was unable to fix it (the pump diaphragm cracked and then leaked) which made this purchase a necessity... After that issue I was interested in finding a humidifier that incorporated a really important design detail.. a 'plug and play' replaceable water pump! This humidifier has that option and if the pump fails, Amazon has the replacement pump for $14! I haven't actually tried this but looks like it should work. https://www.amazon.com/XHWPUKJ-accessories-various-humidifier-XUNHOU41234/dp/B0D66RXWGK/ref=sr_1_5 The humidity setting displayed seems to be fairly accurate and it regulated to a few % H, comparing H to a couple of humidity meters we have. 45% was the max setting we ran with the mid mist level preferred. Made the house so much more comfortable for skin and sinus issues with the normally very dry winter air we experience living in the north central USA. The remote control has all of the features to control but did need 2 AAA batteries that were not included. I didn't use the heated mist option as I feel I have a whole house heater for that task... maybe that option allows for a better/maximum humidity output, but I didn't test it. Also didn't use the timer option, didn't need that. THE not so BAD: The actual size of humidifier is not too large considering the 5gal capacity. I was able to go almost 2 days before needing refilling. A slight downside to this humidifier is it requires to be a ways away from a wall or furniture, technically the manual says 18" min. I was able to get it a little closer to a wall by pointing the misters away and placing it near a doorway between two large rooms where there is a slight draft. A downside is I wish it had extender pipes on the mister ports to get mist pointed to a better direction. I'm thinking some 45degree pvc pipe elbows may fix this. It does however look more stylish without extended pipes and does move the mist up about 2 feet into the air above humidifier (the deflectors just don't point the mist to a direction that much). Refilling the water tank wasn't to bad but just after a few fills I was tired of filling it and it was time to automate filling with a water float valve tied into our reverse osmosis water system. All I had to do was order the 1/4" inch Quick Connect Water Fitting + Water Float Ball Valve + PVC Pipe $12 kit that Amazon sells. It was easy to tee into the water line that went to our refrigerator ice machine to get a new water line for humidifier. In the summer time I just unhook the water line and wrap/hide it behind the fridge in a plastic bag. To incorporate the float value required drilling one 1/4" hole near the top on the side of the tank and fabricating a stand for the valve inside the tank. Don't drill too close to top as there might be interference with tank edge and bottom of humidifier lip edge. I put the float mount position up just high enough inside so you could see water in the tank fill window and used some 5mm coroplast to fab stand. Any piece of plastic that doesn't float should work for a stand but the float floating may lift stand. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08NPGL2J3 CONCLUSION: IF you need to humidify a larger area, I'd recommend trying this one! Great large room humidifier. I have a hydrometer in my bedroom which verifies it maintains a 45% humidity level. Very low noise, great mist. I run in at night when the heater is running. SO I don’t run it in the summer cause the humidity is higher anyway. I went to start it up a couple weeks ago and NOTHING. The panel wouldn’t light up at all. I communicated with the company via email. Their customer service was absolutely OUTSTANDING! I was within the 1 year warranty by a month. Their communication and follow up was excellent. They shipped me a new unit and everything is working fine.

Be aware I have a very well insulated house but municipal water , after I started using all of the sudden my house started been covered with massive amount of a white dust all over it was impossible to keep up , I got alarmed one day later in the afternoon when the sun hit the window and a clearly saw a dense cloud though the house I thought that was the furnace and called the oil company to come right the way , they checked the heating system and all came out normal , it was a mystery, I couldn’t keep up , I started getting my lungs very heavy , i start investing deeper then I turned off the humidifier and the dust stopped all together, I realized that it has no filter and bad design, all the impurities from the water goes right up to the air . My returning window has been passed so no money back , at least now I don’t have to deal with the headache of house filling with dust and respiratory problems . NO I DON’T RECOMMEND

UPDATE: After several emails back and forth with the manufacturer, it was determined that the humidifier I had originally received had a malfunctioning sensor which was causing the unit to not work. They did finally agree to send a new humidifier as a replacement. The new replacement is working properly and seems to be functioning well. It is super quiet which is great also. So with that I have also changed my initial rating from 1 star to 4 stars. *ORIGINAL POST - I just received the Lacidoll Mifasol Humidifier Model LCD-MH-J18 that I ordered from Amazon. I ordered this from Amazon on 10/09/2024 and received it yesterday on 10/11/2024. This humidifier is not working properly. I have followed exactly all directions that were included with the unit. I have double checked that all tubes, lines, connections and also all electrical outlets and plugs are secure, correct and working properly. I have also checked the float to make sure it’s working properly. I have also made sure the water tank is filled correctly. When I turn on the humidifier it beeps and you can hear and see the water circulating into the top (sink?). It keeps circulating and circulating but never turns on the mist and the red fill light continues to blink until the humidifier starts to beep again and then shuts off. The tank is filled correctly with room temperature water. I have again repeated all steps as shown in the manual and re-checked all connections, power and again made sure the tank is full of water. I have repeated all this several times and the humidifier is still not working properly. It continues to circulate the water, does not turn on the mist, continues to blink red and then shuts off. Troubleshooting instructions are vague and not descriptive. If I can’t get an answer for a simple appliance issue then I will be returning this humidifier. I was looking forward to using this but currently very disappointed and frustrated.

I've been using this Mifasol humidifier in my living room for just over a week now and I'm very pleased with my purchase. I like the compact size and sleek design, it fits into my living area nicely. It sits nicely in the living room and is super quiet. I live in a desert climate so winters are crazy dry with the heat running, we're talking about a baseline of 15% humidity or less. I was looking for an ultrasonic humidifier that was quiet and with a large capacity that could humidify a large room. I have a large, open space living area and my previous evaporative humidifier couldn't keep up, but I'm glad to report that this Mifasol humidifier can keep my space at 40-45%. There are no handles on the body so it is not easy to move around when filled. Since I don't plan on moving the humidifier around, this isn't really an issue for me. The remote control is convenient and works well. I appreciate that there's 3 humidity speeds available, but I've found that I end up leaving it on the highest setting. Overall I'm happy with this humidifier.

Still evaluating after a week. However if I Am considering putting it in a box and shipping it back. Set this up in an open space, hoping to provide humidity to a couple areas. Instead. I ended up with a pond on the floor and my hardwood flooring getting wet. There is no velocity to the fan that is supposedly in it. So the mist goes straight down to the floor. I'm going to turn on the ceiling fan to see if that will get the mist to move. If that doesn't work, I will bring a floor fan and place next to it. I have tried the cold mist and the warm and neither seem to dissipate and only using the low mist It is however very quiet and does not take up a lot of space. The square unit fits nicely along the wall and does not look like a humidifier. Right now. Would I recommend it to anyone, no, I would not. I have read other reviews that say it need to be in a well ventilated area. I have placed in a well ventilated area and the mist is going to the floor.

The primary flaw is that the control panel is at the top, where the refill valve is. If I splash water during refill or if I need to wipe it off, it frequently turns off and I need to reset it. Also, the water level indicator is very dark and hard to see. It’s nice and quiet and puts out a good amount of steam. Much better for cold mist as warm is barely warm. Good value.
