I’ve been using the AVCA Blackhead Remover Cleansing Oil as my first cleanse, and honestly? This thing has turned into my “don’t talk to me until I’ve washed my face” step after a long day outside. It does exactly what it needs to do: melts sunscreen, makeup, and that stubborn “I’ve been outside too long” grime off my face without turning my skin into a dry, tight mess or leaving me feeling like I bathed in oil. One thing I really love about it is how disrespectfully good it is at breaking down sunscreen. Because let’s be real — some cleansers act like they did something, but your skin still feels like it’s wearing a second layer. This one actually gets in there and loosens everything up properly. And after work? Don’t even get me started. When my face feels sweaty, dusty, and just overall over the day, this oil makes it feel like I’m literally wiping the entire day off my skin. Very “new face unlocked” energy. Texture-wise, it’s smooth, lightweight, and actually emulsifies properly once water hits it — no weird greasy film, no residue, no nonsense. Just clean skin that still feels soft and calm instead of stripped and angry. Now about the “blackhead remover” claim… let’s be honest, it’s not performing surgery on your pores overnight. But over time? My skin does look less congested, especially around my nose. It’s more like it keeps things under control before they even get dramatic. My final thoughts: This is not a loud, show-off product — it’s that quiet overachiever that shows up, does its job properly, and doesn’t need applause. If you wear sunscreen daily or exist in hot weather (which I do), this is one of those staples that just makes sense. Would I repurchase it? Yes, without hesitation. My skin feels cleaner, calmer, and way less “life happened to me today” after I use it. Best for: sunscreen removal, double cleansing, oily buildup,makeup removal, after-work grime, and fully resetting your face at the end of the day.

Works very well. Comparable to most others I've used. This one has a much stronger smell than the others, but it's not a lotion and you're rinsing it off your face and then using a cleanser, so it's not like the smell stays. Also, it's not a bad smell, you can just smell the olive and sunflower oils. It's bigger for the price than others I've used, it will last me awhile even though I also use it on my hands after applying sunscreen, not just on my face. Overall I will end up buying this one again.

I love this oil for makeup removal. This will be my 4th or 5th repurchase. As soon as I see the bottle running low, I order on Amazon. I have large pores, very sensitive skin, and am acne prone (as well as dry skin!) and this oil cleanser is the ONLY way my makeup comes off at the end of the day... and I don't even wear that much. I do 2-3 rounds of this AVCA oil for pre-cleanse... before I wash my face with Cerave foaming oil cleanser. Love this oil. Have tried others but this is my fave. OH and it smells nice, like Juicy Fruit gum to me :)

I use this as a first step to my skincare. It has a beautiful botanical smell to it and the formula is nice and thick. My mascara is still left behind so I had to use a different removal for that and my skin is pretty healthy so I haven't felt any blackheads come out yet. I definitely like it and would buy it again. I have been using this now for white a while and really like the results. I have dry skin and have noticed a big difference. I use as part of my double cleansing routine. Starting with this then using a foaming cleanser after. The oil doesn’t have a strong smell (slight citrusy) and feels good while I’m applying it. Rubs in nicely and easily washes off. I haven’t had any adverse reactions and would recommend for maturing skin. My teenage son also uses and had no issues either. Overall great product at a reasonable price.

Bought this cause it was one of the most cost effective ones. Honestly love it, it does its job with no effort. It burns my eyes a little but they all kind of do so.. It sort of has a fragrance but I’m not mad at it. Over all 10/10 product that I will be purchasing again soon

I bought this hoping it'd help w my larger pores, esp on my nose but after using for about 7 weeks now, nothing has changed. There's nothing wrong w it but to me it's equivalent of an $8 neutragena cleanser. My face is clean & sufficiently hydrated after using but it's nothing special to me; won't be purchasing again. Pro: I appreciate the large size for the price.

Loved this! Melts my makeup off and is gentle. I’ve almost used the whole thing! Great product and I would recommend!

Leaves skin refreshed and well moistened.. Ideal for makeup removing without leaving any residue.. However for blackheads, it’s too early to review it as it’s only been few days I have started using it…they do seem like a little less visible than before..

I like it, cleans well but leave my skin oily great to use winter time.
