Caron All Day Cotton Yarn for Crocheting, Summer Night, 3-Pack

I’ve been really happy with this yarn. It’s smooth and soft, doesn’t split easily while I’m crocheting, and the stitches are very easy to see. I’ve been using the cream color for making bags, and it works really well for that. The color is beautiful too! My only small complaint is that it feels a little thinner than I expected for a #4 worsted weight yarn. Other than that, I think the quality is excellent for the price. Now I understand why this yarn is so popular. I’ve also bought it in light blue and light purple, and I’d definitely buy more. I just hope they come out with even more colors in the future!

Not only is this cotton yarn incredibly easy to use, this particular color, Snow on the Beach, is lovely. Haven’t crocheted in over a decade (which was literally one pattern on 3 things), and this was a perfect yarn to get back into it. Learned to make a single crochet stitch scarf. I used all 3 skeins, of 3.5 oz each, for a scarf that’s a little wider (46 chains across) and came to about 53”. I don’t feel like actually measuring the scarf but the width is about 8” or so. Next scarf I make with this, I’d reduce the width so I could get at least 60” in length with a single stitch. It’s not a very thick yarn but it’s a very sturdy yarn that I prefer the cotton feel of. I’m impressed. And I chose it without ever touching this brand or really remembering much of others. Grateful I found a good set. I did see others warn of factory knots but I never once came across any throughout all 3 skeins. It gives me more confidence to try Caron All Day Cotton again. Happy crocheting/knitting!

Hard to find a 100% cotton yarn to make a blanket. I’d returned a few that were so thin and finally found this one. I wasn’t sure at first but it is working out nicely. Easy to work with. I’m using a size f crochet needle and doing a basic triple stitch. The blanket is coming along nicely and is soft enough for a blanket. The color is nice and as pictured online. I predict it will get softer after washing; we’ll see…

For the price point, this yarn is very good. It's soft and easy to work with. There were more factory knots in it than I would have preferred, and definitely be on the lookout for fraying on loose ends that havent been tucked in. Otherwise, I love this yarn! It is not very stretchy (that's just the nature of cotton yarn in general) so keep that in mind when selecting a pattern! I made a baby blanket with two 3 packs of this yarn and i think it turned out absolutely beautifully :) I will be buying this yarn again for another upcoming project. It's hard to beat for the price point!

Pretty nice yarn. I was a little disappointed when I first got it because it didn't look like much yarn. But I respun it and then made a baby blanket and it was more than enough. Its pretty soft. I love the feel of it. I bought a couple packs thinking I'd need more, but only needed 4 skeins. I really like the color, I also bought the turquoise looking one. I didnt like that it kept splitting at the end and sometimes when I would mess up the count and undo it, it would separate in the middle of the yarn.. but it seems stable so far. It feels like it would be heavy, but it's not. I guess it depends one what you make with it. I think the value for 3 skeins is pretty good compared to others.

Excellent quality and thickness of the cotton. It is also soft. I ran into a couple of knots but they were small and really don't show up in my work. This color is exactly what I was expecting. Beautiful and true to the picture. Will buy this brand again.

Super soft, easy to work with, lightweight. I ordered cream, blue, and grey and they’re all great for the baby blanket I’m working on! There’s only been one manufacturer knot out of 4 bundles! Doesn’t tangle easily start to finish it sits nicely. I’m using a 5mm hook as recommended and it works great. Colors are vibrant. ONLY downside, since it’s cotton, as you crochet there are fuzzies that fly around and are easy to go up your nose and cause an itch. Lint rolling periodically and washing once the project is finished should fix the issue though!

Ich habe Caron All Day als Substitut für Lion Brand 24/7 genommen, da diese Farbe bei Amazon von Lion nicht erhältlich war. Das Garn ist etwas dicker als die 24/7 (158m auf 100g, Lion 24/7 hat 170m auf 100g), aber wenn man nur wenige Reihen mit diesem Garn hinzufügt, kommt es trotzdem hin. Sehr gute Qualität.
