Actual real person review after real use
I bought the 28โ Luggex suitcase in charcoal. I love a good suitcase (call me weird) but Iโm also too intelligent to dump $2000+ into a glorified clothes box and act like a pretty box somehow means Iโm more valuable than others. All That to say that I really do want a quality suitcase but Iโm also value-conscious. I bought this one after spending a ton of time reading reviews and still wasnโt sure what I would get. No matter which suitcase you check out youโre going to find the โthis is the best one everโ reviews and the โdo not buyโ ones, but this is the one I went with. Sorry so much preamble. The good: Loaded this sucker up FULL with 51 lbs (23.5kg) of stuff, mainly clothes but some books as well, and checked it in. It then survived six weeks of flights and transfers and in & out of truck beds going from Texas to Papua New Guinea and back, with a lot of additional flights inbetween. United, Asiana and Virgin airlines are pretty good with bags. JetStar was okay. Air Niugini must literally throw the bags out of the aircraft and then jump on them. Seriously. Of our three checked suitcases (three different brands) only this one survived unscathed. It came through with some scuffs - basically perfect. The wheels are all still intact and working quietly. The case itself looks good, no cracks or dents, it opens and closes properly and I donโt find any loose rivets or other damage. The latches and hinges still function correctly and nicely. For comparison, suitcase โBโ was so smashed after just one Air Niugini flight I was afraid it wouldnโt get us home: caved in side, major cracks in two sides, front permanently creased, and the aluminum frame broke in two places. Suitcase โCโ had two broken-off wheels, one corner caved in and cracked through, and white crease marks across the front where it had bent. Neither of those will ever make another trip. The Luggex looks good - like it actually looks good. The other two are filthy and scuffed and you say, โdude, those things are finishedโ. This one you look at and say โhuhโฆprobably could wipe it down with a damp cloth and remove that sticker residue, huh?โ Iโm massively impressed Extra impressed because it went all the same places as the other two bags but this one just looks a bit dirty and those two are ruined. I will absolutely buy another Luggex. 13 flights, 16 different terminals, vans, truck beds, stairs, gravel, pouring rain, plus the tender care of Air Niuginiโฆthis one wins, for me.

Awesome for My Camera and Video Gear (Almost Perfect)
I have tried and own all kinds of brands, cases, bags, etc. for my video and camera gear. Including Pelican, ThinkTank, Tamrac, Tenba, Neewer, Lowepro, even converting a Samsonite for my purposes. Those are all great brands but I wanted something pretty specific and maybe Pelican finally listened to my suggestions but they are overpriced in my opinion. Regarding why this bag is almost perfect for my needs. First it has 4 sets of wheels to allow for easier transport from the studio to locations. Pelicans and ThinkTanks have two sets of wheels which adds to fatigue when transporting long distances to location. Next this bag is lightweight AND durable. The metal hinge was a requirement. And the locking clasps were also a requirement. As mentioned, I tried different brands and approaches. I find Pelicans overkill and end up being too heavy. Their AIR line is ok but overpriced. ThinkTanks are durable but also overpriced. My Samsonite conversion broke the hinge and zipper after a few months of use. It's been almost a year of daily use of this bag and all latches, hinges, and zippers are working well. And the thing that tops it off for my needs is the value. This is well priced. There is definitely a price hike for bags and cases designated as camera, photo, or video. So please keep these priced as a good value. Reasonably priced with good durability. I don't need to drive a truck over my cases. I don't even need to sit on or stand on my cases. But I do need them to last daily transport from studio to location. Plus, I need them to withstand being opened and closed dozens of times a day while on location. Feature design requests for my needs as a videographer/photographer but probably not for travelers. Can you make a photography/videographer line of cases? Can you make the medium suitcase just a little bit deeper? Maybe just 1-2 inches overall. Or rather than a 50/50 design where the lid is 50% and the bottom (side with the retractable handle) is 50%, can you make the lid 35% and the bottom 65% or thereabouts? This will help keep lenses, camera bodies, and larger items on the bottom side. Currently I put those on the lid side (left side) because the retractable handle takes some depth away. Not a huge deal but less convenient. Those are the heavier items and it makes the lid harder to lift. Plus shifting the ratio away from 50/50 makes storing longer lenses easier by having some medium length lenses also be stored vertically rather than horizontally. You don't want to go too long in one direction either or it ends up being wasted space. This is a big flaw with a lot of Pelican designs where they are too deep on one side and too shallow on the other side. Also, if you made the camera bag inserts and dividers that would be awesome! Currently I use inserts and dividers from other manufacturers and they are not a perfect fit. Thanks for making a great case! Also, honestly look into what it would take to compete in the camera/photo/video space. There are manufacturers with thriving businesses in that space but I think they are all lacking in some way. I should just make a video at some point.

I LOVEEE MY SUITCASE, Durable, Smooth, and Secure Travel Upgrade
I LOVEEE MY SUITCASE. I bought this for my boyfriend, and heโs been using it for travel, and itโs honestly been such a great purchase. The suitcase feels very strong and durable; the aluminum frame and hard shell design make it feel like it can handle a lot without getting damaged. The spinner wheels are super smooth, it rolls very easily and feels light even when itโs packed. One of my favorite features is the TSA locks. Itโs something we didnโt have before, and itโs really nice knowing everything inside is secure, especially when traveling through airports. The inside is well organized and gets the job done; it keeps everything in place and makes packing simple. That said, it does feel like thereโs slightly less space compared to a traditional zip-up suitcase, probably because of the frame design. Itโs not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind if you tend to pack a lot. On the bright side, it definitely encourages packing lighter and more efficiently. Overall, this is a really solid, high-quality suitcase that looks great, feels secure, and travels smoothly.

Almost carry on
This should be listed as an almost carry on. Or a hope and prayer carry on. USA domestic standard is 22x14x9 - wheels to handle, etc. This one is over that. Close but not quite. If youโre forced to put it in a sizer at the gate it will fail. If you have a forgiving gate agent - maybe. Other notables, built sturdy- curved sides make it appear smaller. Solid latches. Smooth wheels. Telescoping handle is a little flimsy but not too bad. Well thought out interior with standard hardware. Itโs a sturdy no zipper bag. Will keep it knowing itโs a checker. Got it on sale. Now if only the airlines would quit with silly size/charging for everything restrictions and make air travel less of an ordeal.

Solid luggage
Great sturdy luggage. Wheels are great and it seems tough! Is bigger than I imagined. Can easily pack it heavier than 50lbs.

Please Do Yourself A Favor
Listen here! I live this carryon! Itโs very nicely made. Feels like a $300 suitcase. Every bit of it is quality. Latches are top notch probably the best Iโve seen on a piece of luggage. The rollers are extremely smooth and easy. The extendable rolling handle is sturdy and nice quality. The top of the case handle is extremely sturdy and well designed. I was able to pack 4 pairs of jeans; toiletry bag, socks, underwear, hairbrush, 4 shirts and t-shirts as well as 3 pair of casual shorts. I used shrinkable luggage bags to reduce bulk and everything fit like a glove. I canโt say enough great things about this one! You will not be disappointed!

Excellent Product!
Very spacious, durable, and convenient for checked in luggage. Was a bit pricey but worth the cost. Family of 3, and it fit attire and toiletries for a 5 day vacation.

Perfect for TRAINS & smooth easy roll for ESCALATORS and lots of walking! Very durable & affordable!
I wanted to use these before I wrote a review. I travelled Germany for 7 weeks, 3,500+ miles, 50 trainsโฆ and I was NOT gentle with this luggage. I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am with my choice. I purchased several brands before deciding on Luggexโand this was hands down the BEST decision. I had this suitcase maxed out weight-wise. Traveling alone much of the time meant I was constantly lifting, pulling, and yesโฆ even throwing it on and off trains because I had more than one bag. Some days I didnโt even have the energy to carry it up and down stairs, so it literally bumped down step by step with me. I was worried the stairs would ruin my suitcase, but it was perfectly fine!!! The suitcase is incredibly durable. And the wheels? AMAZING. They held up to EVERYTHING. They handled every surface I came across. Cobblestone? No problem. Although I will sayโฆ in Kรถln (Cologne), the cobblestones were EXTRA ๐ so I had to put my back into it and pull! It rolled smoothly across platforms, elevators, stairs, and everything in between. It also went on and off escalators easily, which was a huge deal when traveling alone. My carry on sat on top and strapped easily to the pull up handle. i am 6โ 2โ and the handle was a perfect length for me. I brought a spare wheel but never needed it. The shocks did their job perfectly. After 7 weeks of serious use, the wheels still looked great, just normal scuffs and scratches (see pic). Security was another huge plus. No zippers to puncture, just a solid aluminum frame with two TSA-approved locks. I felt completely comfortable leaving it in the train luggage areas while I went to the bathroom or restaurant car. I also used a retractable locking cable for extra peace of mind. The medium size fit easily in the overhead racks on German trains. About the frame โฆ I tried other hard-shell suitcases without aluminum frames, and they all felt floppy and โsoft.โ With my hip injury, I needed something I could sit on if necessary. The company didnโt officially recommend it, but I had to try it and it was SOLID . I used it as a seat multiple times throughout my trip. Even my 6โ10โ, 300 lb son sat on his with no issue. The frame is no joke!! Seriously strong and well-built. I researched, shopped online and off and these are truly the most durable suitcase you can get at this price point! Bottom line: I am SO happy with this purchase. We now own four different sizes and I am buying a set for my husband. Iโve included a video of it rolling over different surfaces in Bad Honnef, regular cobblestones, the horribly bumpy ones in Cologne and down the stairs at the Cathedral. The wheel photo shows their condition AFTER the full 7-week trip. Even after sitting on them, a lot, the shock is in perfect condition.

Pรฉsimo artรญculo, pรฉsima calidad
Muy mala calidad, los cerrojos se vencen en menos de 5 viajes, los materiales son muy deficientes y ademรกs se rompen con extrema facilidad aรบn siendo una maleta de cabina

Worth the money
Instead getting a lot of problems with the delivery, this luggage is awesome. I haven't done any trip with it yep, but everything in it seams having a excellent quality.

Buena pero ya veremos cuanto dura
La pieza que se extiende para manipular la maleta esta muy endeble, esta muy floja, esperamos que aguante los viajes!

Impressed with the size and quality
I have not used it yet but it already fits items my previous carry ons don't. The square design allows more items. I've loaded it up and the wheels work well, can't wait to try it out at the end of the month.
