Does this watch require a battery?

It has a battery that powers the watch. The battery is charged by the small solar panels in the watch face. The battery will eventually not take a charge from the solar. The battery will need to be replaced then. I have heard the battery lasts 10-15 years.

Just purchased one of this. Do I need to register the watch due to the warranty?

You can set the city as you like. The default is New York.
