The Govee Curtain Lights 2 completely exceeded my expectations. The brightness, clarity, and color accuracy from the 1040 LEDs are incredible — far better than any curtain‑style lights I’ve used before. The RGBIC effects are smooth, vibrant, and genuinely eye‑catching, whether I’m using them for everyday ambiance or special events. The standout feature for me is the DIY GIF/AIGC capability. Being able to upload custom animations or create my own designs takes personalization to a whole new level. It’s surprisingly easy to use, and the results look amazing. Friends always ask how I got such unique lighting effects. Setup was quick, and the app control is intuitive. The lights respond instantly to changes, and the music sync mode is a fun bonus that adds energy to parties or gaming sessions. The build quality also feels solid — nothing flimsy or cheap. If you want smart lights that are bright, customizable, and genuinely impressive, the Govee Curtain Lights 2 are worth every penny. They transform any space into something magical. And they make my next-door neighbor jealous. Now he wants a set. We both try to outdo each other each year; I won this year big time.

I love these lights. I instantly have access to many holiday scenes that was able to use right away. I like that I can also create my own scenes. The installation was very easy for me. I already have a Govee soffits light so this connect to my existing eco system. Great product.

After a year of using this product through different seasons Ive only become a bigger fan To start this product is really easy to setup. No technical skills required, Govee team did a really good job of ensuring that. Connecting through the app can be done with Bluetooth or wifi making it easy to control from anywhere The app is filled with different options and customizations for your curtains once theyre setup as well. You can update the design in a few button taps via the Govee mobile app. Worth mentioning the Govee App has a bunch of templates or default options too which are fun to pick up and use right away Automation fan? The Goveee app has some solid automation options however here I think the Govee team can make it a bit simpler for users to get exactly what they want. Nothing crazy not 100% easy. As long as Ive had this and the hundreds of hours they've been on, theres so far been no bulb issues with the LEDs so I'd say everything is pretty durable. Ive only tried to use indoors so will make sure thats stated too Will mention theres two routes to hanging and I chose the adhesive route and its worked out flawlessly without any adhesive issues so there's that too. My cat has even gone through them (like a toy almost) and they've had again no issues If you want a review on outside setting- like this review and I'll give it a try (I have 2 sets!)

Bought this product twice and both times the product failed. First time, product just stopped working after a little over a year. Of course, Govee refused to replace the product as it was outside of any warrantee. For something that costs 150$ I'd expect it to last longer than 1 year. The 2nd time I bought it, it was faulty right out of the box. Of course, I didn't try using for 2 months so it was outside of Amazon's return policy. Govee required a back and forth customer service exchange that lasted several days over email where they wanted a full video of them not working....they were going to ship me out a replace unit but they entered the delivery address wrong and it got sent to the wrong zip code. So I had to get back in touch with them and they told me to fight USPS over it and have the address corrected for my purchase, but I didn't purchase that delivery, it was setup by them as a replacement and USPS had the package set as returned to sender. So now I had to fight them more until finally they initiated a refund on the product. Won't be buying this product a third time. Govee normally has pretty good quality lights, but for whatever reason the engineering on these seems flaky and faulty and easily breaks.

Got this a couple of weeks before Halloween this year and put it out front as part of our display. So many fun animations and not hard to make your own. It's bright enough to see in day light and has to have brightness turned down after dark. So it works for nearly anything except sunny/direct sunlight. Problem is after only 2 weeks one of the lights stuck red always on. Even after resetting the unit the one light was always on even when unit turned off. This lasted for several days until it went off and now that one light no longer has red. It will light the other colors, but the red is dead. For this price it should last more than a couple of weeks. I have quite a few Govee lights, but I won't be buying more of these for my other windows. EDIT: Raising to 4 stars because I received a purely no hassle refund and that says a lot about a brand. This space is growing rapidly and I expect some level of early defect/breakage on products. As long as a company stands up for those products and does the right thing it is a risk I will still take. As I said, I have quite a few other Govee products. I have had some of their inside lights for several years without any major issues. Only one sting of LED's that for some reason is slow to respond to commands, but that's it. I also have some other outside stuff that I have not had long enough to claim victory on, but so far so good. I will probably hold off on these tear drop products (Curtain, net, and icicle) for now and see how they improve/perform over the next year or two before revisiting them, but they are fun to play with. YMMV

Fenomenal producto, da mucha luz, yo lo uso en el interior de mi cuarto y da un gran ambiente, ya no necesito prender ninguna otra luz dada su potencia, la cual también es muy ajustable, pero vale mucho la pena, además de que el servicio al cliente es muy bueno y responsivo.

The Govee Curtain Lights 2 have become one of my absolute favorite decorations — I love these lights! I originally bought them just for Christmas, but they’ve quickly turned into my go-to for everything: birthday parties, Halloween decorations, and even a Christmas camping trip. They’re that versatile! The lights are super bright and look amazing whether they’re indoors or outside. Because I already own other Govee products, they sync perfectly and the effects look so cool together. The animations and colors make every setup feel magical. Friends and neighbors have actually called my house the best decorated on the block — and honestly, I believe it’s because of these lights. They’re totally worth the money, incredibly fun to use, and make every occasion feel extra special. I’m obsessed. Highly recommend!

Ces rideaux à DEL sont tout simplement superbes ! Les couleurs sont vives, les effets lumineux variés et personnalisables depuis l’application sont impressionnants. L’installation est facile et la connexion à l’application Govee se fait sans problème. Ils transforment complètement l’ambiance d’une pièce, que ce soit pour une déco cosy ou festive. Excellente qualité et très bon rapport qualité-prix — je les adore !

Curtain lights worked exactly as expected, easy installation. I mounted them to a painted 1x4 with the included clips and tethered the bottom together with the included spacer clips and attached them to a thin strip of wood to keep everything straight. App works well for what I've done with it. Looking forward to seeing how i can use it.
