I love this wonderful, pure, fragrance fee, sunscreen, and I hope they never stop making it. My skin reacts to most products, even hypoallergenic, I usually feel a stinging, no matter how slight. This formula is one of the very few that causes no reaction at all, and my face feels perfectly moisturized when I appy it. I love that there are minimal ingredients, you only need a tiny bit, and it is so effective. A staple for me!

Badger Face Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 Excellent! I’ve tried several different mineral sunscreens for my face and this may be my favorite. Two things that impressed me about the product - it went on smoothly, and left no white cast. The texture is very smooth, thin. and lightweight. When you put a dab on your finger and brush it against another finger it turns clear, melts, and feels slightly oily. After a few seconds of rubbing it between your finger and thumb the oily feel disappears completely. That followed suit with the packaging that read “weightless” moisturizer mineral sunscreen. The sunscreen went on so easily and smoothly that I couldn’t believe It was mineral. I didn’t have to “rub it in” at all. To various degrees I’ve had to rub in the 5 or 6 mineral screen brands that I’ve tried. So this one was already ranking high on my chart. Once the sunscreen was on my face, it initially felt a little greasy but also very “thin” or lightweight. It didn’t look greasy. Within a few minutes it no longer felt greasy or oily. The next surprise is that it didn’t leave a white cast on my face! Amazing! One of the most difficult things about finding a good mineral sunscreen is finding one that doesn’t leave a white cast. When it came time to remove the sunscreen I held my breath because mineral sunscreens are notoriously difficult to remove, and typical cleansers which are water-based don’t work on oil-based products. Oil cleansers do, followed by a water-based cleanser. Even with an oil-based cleanser it isn’t easy to remove mineral screen. Though it took a little work to remove this mineral screen, as has been my experience with all the other mineral screens I’ve tried, I’d say this was a little easier. Based on my experience with Badger’s Face Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30, I would buy it again.

I feel Badger face sunscreen is the best sunscreen I have ever used. I love how it is lightweight and applies so smoothly. I highly recommend.

The sunscreen itself is great and I like that its natural. The problem is it goes oily and when it sits it separates and its not easy to remix back together. Kind of like ketchup spitting out vinegar when it sits around but worse. Having to deal with that first thing in the morning before work got old fast and I ended up switching brands.

I rarely leave product reviews, but I was really surprised by how bad this product is. It is essentially just zinc suspended in coconut oil. The product comes out of the tube like literal coconut oil - you have to warm it up in your hands before it turns into an oil slick. This stuff does not blend or sink in AT ALL. You will walk around all day looking like you slathered bacon grease all over your face. I imagine this stuff would completely clog your pores with repeated use, as well. If you try to further blend the product after the initial application or dab off the excess oil, the SPF comes off with it. (I have a UV mirror/camera to check.) The SPF is quite literally just sitting suspended in the oil and will easily wipe away. The SPF also separates from the oil over time, so you’ll begin to notice white streaks appearing throughout the day. I’m all for minimalist products that reduce potential irritants, but this is just a no-go.

It goes on clear. Does not leave your face greasy. It works really well. Clean ingredients!!

Very light and good for sensitive skin. It’s not greasy and doesn’t leave your face all shiny looking. A plus it is natural no harsh chemicals. Love it!

I ended up returning this sunscreen. I didn’t like the smell, and it didn’t look good on my skin — it left a noticeable white cast. Even though it’s a mineral sunscreen with zinc oxide and simple ingredients, it just didn’t work for us. It was also hard to convince my kids to use it because of the texture and scent, which is important in our daily routine. I think there are better sunscreens out there that blend more easily and smell nicer. It might work for some people, but it wasn’t the right fit for our family.
