Just received this fragrance and couldn’t wait to try it. Like many of you after hearing how Rhianna smelled so good we all wanted to try the original scent Love, Don’t Be Shy. I went to a department store to sample the scent and possibly purchase, but that was out of the question on my budget so here I am with the best rated “ inspired by” fragrance. TBH of course it’s not exactly the same BUT, SUPER DARN CLOSE The scent is pretty straight forward , not as many layers as the original but close enough to warrant many compliments AND to keep me wearing it. It could last a bit longer but I expected that so I layer it with different body wash and lotion combos and just a little mid day spritz is all you need to revive your scent. Purchasing perfume is always a roll of the dice unlike clothing you can try on right there and know if it fits. IMO this one is a keeper for certain, I’m getting the marshmallow with a little orange/citrus and not too much vanilla/ musk. Bonus is the magnetic cap, when I ordered I didn’t think too much about it but after using it I see that it’s a nice addition.

This perfume has a soft, sweet scent that’s feminine without being overpowering. It lasts well throughout the day and layers nicely with other fragrances. The quality is excellent for the price, and it’s become one of my favorite everyday perfumes.

I went back and forth on whether I was actually going to get this perfume to scratch my "itch" for Love Don't Be Shy after I ran out. I am honestly pleasantly surprised at this smell! It smells JUST like LDBS. It's not as strong and I feel like it doesnt last AS long but the smell is definitely spot on. I would definitely order again!

This is my second bottle of this perfume but I ordered the first one directly from Dossier. I decided to get this last bottle from Amazon b/c the other site charges the same price as Amazon but with $3.95 for shipping. This is not the same thing; it does not smell the same, nor does it last like my original bottle. I absolutely loved that first bottle. I could smell it on myself hours later, and I received several compliments on it. This bottle from Amazon does not smell like that one did to me. There are similarities but nothing more. I can absolutely douse myself with this and I cannot smell it at all so I am definitely not smelling it hours later. I would love to be able to return this so I can order from Dossier but you of course cannot return perfumes. Maybe I just got a bad bottle but I won't be ordering this again from Amazon. I'll go ahead and spend the extra $4 on shipping because it is most definitely worth it. I'm my head / girl math, I actually lost $40 instead of spending $4 since I can't return this thing and will most likely spend the money to order another directly from Dossier and throw this in the bathroom junk drawer or give it away.

The very first time I purchased this in 2023, I got it alongside aquatic peony. At first I preferred aquatic peony and didn't like floral marshmallow because it had a mediciny/sweet flat scent. But a few months after when I was desperate and running low, I decided to give floral marshmallow a try again. To my surprise! A creamy, deep and long lasting smell had matured. I fell in love with it. 2 years later I've decided to repurchase and I'm experiencing the same thing all over again. How this smells initially isn't my cup of tea. Maybe I should let it sit for a few months again?

I was really concerned that this perfume would be cloying and sweet, but it is perfect. I've seen so many reels about how good Rihanna smells and because I'm not an international popstar I can't afford her perfume but when I saw that this was a dupe I wanted to see what it smelled like. I love it so much. When you first put it on, you can smell that orange blossom and there's a sweet note that almost smells like smarties but not in a bad way. Then it settles and it's just this really nice skin musky sent that isn't overpowering at all. I'd really like to try more of their fragrances. I've always hated cheap perfume because it always ends up smelling cheap, but this is not like that at all!

******Update******** I loved the scent so much that I bought the 100ml bottle as soon as it was available. The perfume is SO much lighter in color and smells like rubbing alcohol, not perfume. The dry down isn't great either. Very weak scent. There is no way to communicate with the seller and they don't do returns on it. If you buy do yourself a favor and get the 50ml bottle. So I honestly don't know what ldbs (the perfume this is an impression of) actually smells like. What I DO know is that this smells phenomenal. It almost smells like the taste of candy, but not in a cheap cotton candy body spray way. It smells like happiness. It smells expensive. I wish my entire house smelled like this. The scent lasts all day on my skin and clothes too. I usually use it right out of the shower, and have slept and woke up the next day and it's still noticeable. The atomizers that this company uses for their bottles are literally the best ones I've ever used. The output of one spray is insane. Trust me when I say that with the atomizer and the concentration of scent that 1 spray can absolutely be enough.

First off, I’ll say that I love Dossier’s packaging. I love the magnetic caps. The perfumes are great quality especially for the price. I’ve purchased the Black Opium dupe before (Ambery Vanilla), and it smells really good, but I was looking for something a little sweeter and more youthful. I have an actual bottle of a different fragrance by Kilian that I love, so I wanted to check out their Love, Don’t Be Shy dupe. It’s a very nice smell, but it wasn’t quite what I was expecting from the reviews/descriptions, which made it seem like it was going to be sweet and gourmand like in a sort of creamy, desserty way. It’s definitely sweet but the florals are more present than I had anticipated, and especially the neroli note is quite strong, which gives it kind of a soapy smell, almost like baby wipes, on the opening. On the dry down, that softens and you get the sweeter, musky notes come through more. It’s definitely a nice smell but I think I’m maybe going to layer it with something else to get exactly what I was looking for. All in all, it’s still a lovely fragrance. I think I was just expecting something a little different. Edit: It is the next day, changed my rating from 4 to 5 stars. It wasn’t the type of fragrance I was initially looking for but I have found myself nonstop smelling my wrists all day.

I bought this because it is said to be a dupe of some kind for the fragrance that I wanted to buy but didn’t know how it smelled so I didn’t want to waste too much money but I’m highly impressed with packaging and the quality it smells amazing and I would definitely recommend
