This six-disc box set draws together all six volumes of the Tom and Jerry Classic Collection and is packed with nearly nine hours of cartoon capers from everyone's favourite cat and mouse. Volume 1 Collecting together the works of each producer, Classic Collection Volume 1 starts with the cartoons of the great Fred Quimby and also includes the Hanna Barbera years 1940-1958. Hollywood legend Quimby is largely regarded as creator of the very best Tom and Jerry episodes. He won seven Academy Awards for various Tom and Jerry shorts and received numerous nominations for his animated works. Volume 2 Tom and Jerry Classic Collection Volume 2 continues with the works of Hollywood legend Fred Quimby, who worked closely with Hanna Barbera and together they set the high standard of animation, music, timing and humour for which Tom and Jerry are renowned. Many people write negative reviews on this product for either the region 2 lock or for the missing two episodes. However this is the most complete dvd collection you will find, for the most reasonable price. Just make absolute certain you have either a region free, region 2, or changeable-region player with which to play them (typically dvd drives can change regions a limited number of times, or if you have a gaming console which can play dvds, check to see if you can change the region). If you wish to find the two missing episodes, their names are “Million Dollar Cat” and “Busy Buddies”. But other than that I love the series and the quality of everything has been more than good enough for me.

WARNING!!!!!! Does not play on U.S.A. DVD or Blue Ray players
I was just robbed. I am left with useless product I cannot enjoy due to fact that description does not explain what “Region 2 Pal” meant. PLEASE UPDATE THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION TO EXPLAIN THAT THIS MEANS IT WILL NOT PLAY ON DVD OR BLUE RAY PLAYERS FOR UNITED STATES of AMERICA (Region 1 ).

Fantastic Collection of Tom and Jerry
Yes, it’s Region 2 and required me to purchase a region free DVD player, but it was so worth it. The quality of the cartoons, sound and picture, are excellent. It says the run time for the collection is 888 minutes, which seems right. If you like Tom and Jerry, this collection is a must-have. Nearly 15 hours of great entertainment!

Read the description and do a little research before complaining
Its kind of funny and also kind of depressing how stupid some people are that have left negative reviews here. The reviews I'm referring to have nothing to do with the quality of the product or the show itself, they're all about how the discs are defective and just won't play on their machines. Boo-Hoo, cry me a river. The box and the description clearly state that the set is Region 2 and the discs are in PAL format, which means they will not play on North American payers (which are NTSC). It doesn't mean they're defective, that would be these reviewers reading comprehension skills. Region Free DVD and BluRay players are available. The DVD players can be found for as low as $30 while the bluesy players are considerably more expensive. Just search for Region Free or All Region DVD and/or Blu Ray players. I hope this helps those who may not be aware of this issue and are savvy enough to do a little bit of research instead of being childish and ignoring things in the description that they don't understand and then writing poor reviews. By the way, this is a pretty good set. It doesn't have any special features or extras but if you're a fan of Tom and Jerry there are hours and hours of the cartoons you love for a fairly good price, all with good quality picture and sound.

Make sure to check deets on the item before purchasing
The only thing I didn’t like about it was that it was DVD compatible for everyone. I’m grateful that the PS4 can change the code to have the dvd play. I didn’t like that it fast forwarded on one of the episodes but other than that this is great!! I’m so happy with al these volumes! They play great and I love Tom and Jerry. I’m so excited about introducing my daughter to Tom and Jerry when she gets older. Tom and Jerry was my all time favorite cartoon and always will be. So happy with this purchase!!!

Almost returned it.
It didn’t play in my Panasonic DP-UB820-K Blu-ray Player so I gave it a try in my PS5 and it worked great you get an option in playstation 5 to change region set it to region 2 and you’re set. Great collection!

Spedizione celere ,tutto benissimo. Dvd perfetti, chiaramente c'è da fare attenzione perché essendo su doppio lato, il rischio è quello di graffiarti, avrebbero potuto fare qualche disco in più ma tutto sommato per il costo va benissimo anche così, una marea di episodi ad un prezzo modico, top

Brilliant!!!
Even tho it would only let me put in 3 stars i wanted to put in 5 stars. Ot is just how i remembered them when i was young. Now 70 and still have a great laugh. They made Tom and Jerry by different producers but the one i got was the best. Proper one. Brilliant

Did not play a single DVD
I was very excited to have these for my children. Unfortunately, not even one DVD worked. The seller is from England and told me that I should change my regional settings for my DVD player. There is no regional setting on my player though. I tried my comptroller but the DVDs did not work there either. It’s a sham product. Please don’t buy.
