GAOY Glitter Cat Eye Gel Nail Polish 6 Colors, Aurora Borealis

I absolutely love this gel polish set! The pink shades are gorgeous, and the cat eye effect looks stunning with a magnet. The polish applies smoothly, cures well under a UV/LED lamp, and has great pigmentation. The colors are elegant and perfect for everyday wear or special occasions. Great quality for the price, and my manicure lasted over two weeks without chipping. Highly recommend for anyone who loves doing their own nails!

Polish quality is great, thickness is great, it flash cures so fast to lock the pearl/cateye design in fast, it’s a great price for how many colors you get, any color will be durable if you prep properly and have a quality top coat, and my only complaint is the small bottle size because I want to use these colors FOREVER!!!! This is my favorite collection so far. I did the pearl effects by swirling around the polish while it was still uncured, I was able to use the tool that came with it to do so which was so convenient. I then used the magnet and some small cuticle scissors to do the cateye French tip effect while it was uncured. I ONLY NEEDED A SINGLE COAT OF THIS POLISH (obviously I’m using base coat, builder gel (natural pink btw), and top coat) AND LOOK AT THE COVERAGE!!! I’m super impressed. The magnet particles don’t move around as fast as some of my other cateye polishes, however I think that is due to the nice thickness of the polish, which I love because it doesn’t run around while I’m doing the designs and the coverage is phenomenal. I’m actually OBSESSED!!! 10/10 give me MORE!

Aurora Borealis Set - Beautiful colors and cateye. At a glance, the 2 pinks and 2 blue tones look very similar but they go on a bit different and with a different finish. I will say that they are quite opaque and I did 3 layers on my sample nails. I also noticed that the color tended to go on unevenly, and you need a pretty thick application to get it to work somewhat evenly. I’m a little on the fence about the product. Overall I like them and they’re good value for money, but I need to try to figure out how to get it to look good without making it super thick. Worth a try.

I got the spring breeze set which includes a small magnet to use for the cat eye effects. The colors are more silvery champagney gold light pastel colors (pink purple and blue) which are super cute for especially this spring and also summer! You can do this polish alone, or use a base color polish so you don’t see the whites of your nails underneath and makes it pop more. The magnet does have a learning curve with it. Left hand I did 2 layers and couldn’t use the magnet. I was having trouble figuring out how to move and push the glitter. Right hand looks really good, I did only 1 layer and was able to move the glitter around to make an all over base nail glow and one stripe on a single nail for the design. It looks beautiful, so classy and so elegant. So far I used the pink, it has been around a week and still no lifting! I did a jelly underneath so it looks even more glassy. The key is prep. I did file and buff my nails properly before applying the polish. USE THE MAGNET BEFORE CURING. I will buy more magnets for more heart flower and other shapes separately for the next time I do my nails. Overall I highly recommend, my nails look so good and I cannot stop staring when I’m typing on my keyboard 🥹

ah well the colors are nice but definitely WAY darker than they look in the pictures and honestlya little bit off shade wise too. the quality is not bad.

I purchased this set back in March 2024, and I’ve been using it ever since. If you love doing your nails at home, this is such a pretty option. The glitter cat eye effect is BEAUTIFUL, especially once you figure out how to use the magnet properly. I will say—it does take a little practice at first, so don’t expect it to be perfect on your first try. But once you get it down, it turns out really nice and looks like a salon-style design. What worked best for me: • I used a base coat first (I recommend the GAOY base coat) • Then applied this glitter gel polish • Used the magnet at the tip of my nail and slowly dragged it down about halfway to create that 3D “cat eye” look After that, I finished with a top coat. Important tip: make sure you use the magnet before curing under the UV light—otherwise the effect won’t work! Then cure each layer under the UV lamp as you go. Even after using it for this long, the quality has held up really well and the colors are still just as vibrant. My manicures usually last about 2–3 weeks before I feel like changing the color, which is a big plus. Overall, this is a really fun set if you like DIY nails and want something a little more unique than regular polish. Once you get the technique down, it looks amazing.

I absolutely loved these cat eye gels! The pigmentation is amazing, and the shine is even better. They apply beautifully and create such a gorgeous effect. I 100% recommend them.

This is the first time I write a review about anything I purchase online, but couldn’t stop my self from sharing how wonderful these nail polishes are!! The quality is fantastic, very smooth, easy to apply, gorgeous pigmented colors, and excellent price I absolutely love and would highly recommend❤️❤️

Debo decir que esta ha sido una de mis mejores compras de esmaltes en gel por internet, especialmente considerando que no los había visto en vivo antes. Los colores son hermosos, muy elegantes y con ese efecto tipo “ojo de gato” que se ve súper sofisticado. Eso sí, algunos tonos dentro del kit son un poco similares entre sí, pero puedes jugar con eso aplicando una base de color diferente debajo para potenciar el resultado y hacer que cada tono se vea más único. El efecto magnético es muy bonito, aunque el imán podría ser un poco más potente para jalar mejor las partículas y lograr un efecto más intenso. Aun así, el resultado final es precioso. Algo que me encantó es la durabilidad: en mi caso, las uñas me duraron casi un mes completo, simplemente esperé el crecimiento natural y se mantuvieron en muy buen estado. Además, funciona perfectamente con productos de otras marcas (prebase, PH bond y top coat), lo cual no siempre pasa con los esmaltes en gel. Hay algunos que se parchean, se cuarteen o se levantan rápido cuando mezclas marcas, pero con este no tuve ese problema en absoluto. La verdad quedé enamorada del producto. Tengo otros esmaltes tipo cat eye, pero ninguno se compara con este. Lo usé para una boda y varias personas me dijeron que mis uñas parecían hechas en salón… cuando en realidad yo me las hago en casa. Eso para mí lo dice todo. ✅ Lo recomiendo muchísimo si te gusta hacerte las uñas tú misma y quieres un acabado profesional, duradero y compatible con lo que ya tienes en casa.
