Excellent welder
So i watched many mig welder comparison youtube videos and this one stood out for quality and consistency in my price range. Youtube video... Cheap vs Expensive Welder? Let's Find Out! YouTube ยท Project Farm Sep 24, 2023 For a DIY or entry level individual this is a great choice to lay down consistent beads with success. Very nice welds with high strength through fusing the metals together. Very comparable to more expensive welding machines. I would recommend and buy again. Impressive little machine for the price.

Amazing performance right out of the box
40 years of fabrication experience ... using wood, glass and metal. The metal was all by others, just cut to shape and worked into my furniture. That entire span of time I used to say that I wanted to learn to join metal, but there were only so many hours in the day, so I focused on wood joinery. A few months ago I decided it was time (before I die) to get a welder and turn it on, so I did. Did a lot of research, followed the basics and have had amazing results right out of the box. The welder comes reasonably well equipped as-is, the only thing I replaced that seems prudent is the grounding clamp, which I replaced with an old school cast brass version. Very pleased with the ease of set up, the automatic functions and the ability to dial it in yourself when preferred. I fully intended to run it 100% 220v, but issues with having all the proper adaptors meant I had to run it 110v at first, it ran like a champ on 1/8" steel, no concessions due to 110v. Since then it's been run on 220v with excellent results. Very highly recommended as an entry level metal sticker togetherer.

Very decent welder for the price
This is a very capable little welder. It could use a better instruction manua with a comprehensive parts list of what you still need to use all the functions. Also the lead wires for the stick welding could be a little beefier. They don't take the higher and prince very well. But all in all it's a very good welder for the price.

Quite and light
This is a fantastic little weilding machine. Quite and light best used on 220 voltage. 110 works but kicks breakers. weilding aluminum this thing is unavailable handy.

Broken from the start.
Using machine in flux core mode, I have everything set up properly. Here's the three second auto configure wire speed ambergrid, using one fifteen or two twenty on the voltage, the machine does not arc. I tried to use it on my property. Thinking that, hey, maybe my generator was the reason that it was there. Because it's an inverter generator and the generator would idle up when you pulled it, but it was hard to start an arc with the stick, and the flux core wouldn't work at all. So I brought it back home to grid power. And due to my travels, it doesn't work here. And I am outside my return window.

Was skeptical but after several uses it's already paid for itself.
I was super skeptical at first because itโs much lighter than my Hobart. In welders, weight "can" be a sign of quality. Heavier usually means a larger transformer, which often translates to more powerful welds. While itโs definitely not as powerful as my Hobart, it makes up for that with versatility, ease of use, and way more functionality thanks to all the available options. It's perfect for light welding, especially for automotive tinkerers or newbie welders. Highly recommended for those use cases.

Mig works fair
Works ok for what it is. Haven't been able to find electrodes small enough for it to burn yet. Finding the sold separately tools for this machine is tougher than expected. A link to compatible tools would be appreciated
