Bright and comfortable headlamp
Headlight is used for night hikes but would serve well for night jogs as well. It’s lite and bright. It takes a little getting use to the single control button but adjusting to your dome is straightforward and easy. I do wish there was a way to disable the auto brightness feature but it has not been an issue since I’m using it in complete darkness. I has a long life battery and they are swappable if you are planning an extended trip. It only comes with one battery so if that is what you need you’ll need to purchase additional batteries separately. Very satisfied with it as it serves my purpose well.

Long battery, very bright, and comes with a bonus case
I've had this headlamp for about a year now, and put it through its paces. I've had it in my pack in a hidden compartment indefinitely, and I'm glad I got it. Took it out climbing, and ended up getting back a bit later than expected. The light on full power is bright enough that I felt confident enough to run on a pitch black night with about the same confidence as running in dusk or sun up conditions. Further, the fog light is very convenient; I had a whiteout ski "adventure" where we ended up (again) out later than expected, and it worked great for keeping the path lit enough to keep going. Charging is trivial, and although it's not the fastest to charge up, just leave it on the charger overnight before your adventures. And if you're forgetful like me, it has enough battery life that you can be confident it will (probably) get you through multiple emergency situations on one charge. Functions well in inclement weather, comes with a good enough case, and attaches to headgear/helmets easily.

Another solid iteration of the petzl headlamp, just not perfect
This is a very bright headlamp. I picked it up because of the USB-C rechargeability. And it's also dual function for me: I use it both for hiking and for night riding my bicycle. I find that it's bright enough for bike riding. As far as its durability goes. IDK? I've had it for months now, I've used it extensively, and I have absolutely no problems with it. But I'm also careful with getting it wet. That's always my main concern. I haven't had it out of my head in a full downpour. I try to keep it tucked under the hood of my raincoat. With careful usage its been very durable for me. I appreciate the fitting mechanism of the headlamp. I like the way it tightens and is easy to adjust. Its very comfortable to wear. I'm knocking it one star for two reasons. One is that the power switch is easily pushed, and I've had the battery drain a couple of times because the light was on inside my pack all day. Also, there's just something about it, maybe its the power switch thing. But this doesn't quite feel like the perfect piece of gear that I love every time I look at it. It's a high bar. But I like to have every single piece of my gear dialed in exactly what I want. Oh yeah, and the "reactive lighting" feature. I don't use it. I find it to be annoying, actually. Maybe it's just me, but having the light flicker randomly to brighter/dimmer settings in the dark is kind of distracting, and I don't like it. I always turn off that feature. It's definitely a solid headlamp. Worth the money. Just not perfect for me.

Best headlamp on the market
Hands down the best headlamp on the market. This version is slightly more difficult to get used to, but once you’re used to it it’s fine. I like the addition of the red light unlike the older versions.

Good, but a learning curve.
Great headlamp light. Plenty bright, and the reactive lighting is very nice. Seems to hold a charge well. However, be advised that the controls are not intuitive (have various combinations of short presses or long presses to get it to do what you want), once you get the hang of it the light is excellent.

End all be all
This is the end all be all of head lamps. The only negative thing I can say about it is that reactive lighting sensor. When using it to work things say in the household that you may have some light on but not enough like to see what you’re working on this headlamp is not a good option because that reactive light sensor is so sensitive that it will mute the light coming out of the headlamp and it won’t be enough light for you to see well. So if you expect 11,000 lumens on the third click, this is not the option for you. But if you want the brightest light in the pitch black darkness of the woods or a cave then this is the best possible for you it is easy to use and great battery life but I would recommend getting an extra. Everything is self-explanatory and easy to use.

Nice features , but led failure, will try again .
Well , I love the reactive mode , it really allows longer battery life , although I would like to be able to adjust the brightness level and not just a non adjustable factory setting . The headband was great , j love how it could the back of your head . Cons, after testing how long the battery lasts , after 1 day of testing , the led (flood light ). Lens started turning purple . Which I believe is the failure of the coating on the led . So I'm going to return it and go with the pro model . I've read that the pro model remembers what light setting you were previously on . Which was a pain on this model, when you shut it off it always come back on on low on reactive mode , and to get to standard mode you have to hold down the power button .
